How far in have the books gone?. Like if you were to judge it season wise, like for the show it is currently in season two, what book would season two be in numbers?. Also, are there any other main characters in the book that aren't in the show?. Also if you watch True Blood: The Series. Who is your favorite?.

I'm pretty sure Season 2 would be Living Dead in Dallas.

I watched the panel of the True Blood actors at comic con, True-Blood.net has videos of it, and according to Charlene Harris, the auther, season 2 is with book 2. I have not read any of the books yet myself, they are on my wish list as I am reading about 7 other series at the moment..lol

I've gotten really into the show and I'm trying not to spoil myself with the books until season 2 is finished. After that, I'm gonna read the first two books.
As for the show characters:

I know I'm weird, but always for some reason I have preferred minor characters to the major ones on all of the shows I have been obsessed with.
