Just as the anger and fury was coursing through his veins he was disturbed by a familiar voice begging him to stop what he was doing. He felt the person leap onto his back in a lame attempt at preventing him from destroying the terrified man before him. The hitting was annoying buy it did not hurt, and could feel his whole body tense again. The berserk side of him was slowly taking hold of him and once he was there he could not control himself.
The vein on the man's neck pumped blood quickly around his body as his heart worked faster so that he might run away. Of course in Jack's iron grip he could not escape anywhere, but the sight of the vein was enough to catch Jack's attention and further his want for blood and death. When the hand wrapped around his eyes and he was denied the sight of such an excellent meal Jack snapped.
In a flash he grabbed hold of Ivory by the hair and threw her to the ground with both hands. The man turned and began to run, and Jack gave chase, catching up to him in an instant. He took hold of the thug's neck again and ran his tongue over his fangs as he looked at the vein that had popped up just below the skin. He was already tasting the blood that he had not tasted in months thanks to that stupid Tru Blood. He missed that taste, he hungered for the taste, it was everything he needed and everything he wanted.
The man struggled quietly and Jack ignored his pleas to stop. A crowd had gathered now and were watching Jack and the man as Jack lowered his mouth toward the man's neck to take the first taste of human blood in months. This would be sweet, this would be ecstasy, this was justice...
Jack blinked and suddenly he realised what he was doing and why he was doing it. He felt the anger and hatred drain out of his body quickly and he felt ashamed. For a brief moment he had turned back into the monster and almost spilled blood for no reason. He dropped the man and gulped. "Get out of here. If I ever see you again you want live another day..." He growled in a low voice to the thug and he nodded quickly before running down the dusty road.
He looked down at his hands and then he gasped. Ivory. He ran to her side and knelt beside her. "Ivory... I ... I'm sorry, I don't know what happened." He said, begging for forgiveness as the crowd watched on. Jack rested a hand on her shoulder to help her up. "Did I hurt you?"

Sookie was doing her job, as usual, filling up salt shakers and pepper with the occasional ketchup bottle, since it wasn't used much by drunks. Thinking in her head what tonight would be like, her and Bill, her bring all of Bill's attention, the love, the excitement. It is what got her through the night, that is for sure. But, suddenly, she felt a surge of emotion. Thoughts came pouring in, Oh My God then another Vampires attacking in Merlottes.
At that last thought, Sookie reacted, wishing she did not have too but Sam was not here tonight. Maybe he was just in his trailer. But it might be too late if she went to get him. What could she do, a little ol human. She did have some of Bill's blood still inside her, maybe making her a bit stronger and more courageous. So she ran from the back of the building, only to see a crowd of people, that new vampire who seemed all dark, the girl with him.
Pushing her way through the crowd, Sookie yelled "What in the name of all that is sweet are you doing! This is not the place for this! What did you do!" She had a scolding stare that, from an outsider point of view, could have burned a hole in the wall like that Xman with lasers. She ran to the other side of the girl, the human, who's thoughts were cloudy. "Get away from her this second!" She yelled as she reached to check for any wounds on the girl. Sookie was thinking hard of danger, hoping it might call Bill to the place. Lucky, she had her silver chain around her neck tonight, not having planned for this to happen, just planned for it to match her earrings. "Are you alright honey?" She asked the girl as she made sure to keep her closer and make the vampire stand back.

Bill was sitting in his Living Room when he sensed Sookie's danger. It came over him like an electric pulse filling his body, each and every vein. He immediately raised himself to his feet and ran as fast as possible to Sookie. This seemed to be a more and more common occurrence, Sookie getting herself in trouble. He sped to Sookie's side where he saw the dramatic scene. "All of you, go inside." He growled to the crowed. The crowed slowly dissipated. He flashed his eyes towards Sookie in a you too sort of way. He knew she would most likely ignore his request but decided to ask it of her anyway. "Stop this. What is going on here?" he said to the strange vampire standing there before him he then looked to Sookie for an explaination. His eyes darted across the ground. He saw no blood, that was a good sign. His body was filled with tension as he surveyed the scene.

Sam was sitting in his private office going over taxes and other general boring work related issues. It was a chore, but they had to be done. The bar was doing good business, actually great business. The customers were for the most part good folks, hard working and liked to relax and spend there free time. Sure there were Vampires that were starting to frequent the place and that unnerved Sam. He tolerated Bill for Sookie's sake, but other Vampires just flat out made him nervous. But so long as they minded there own business and didn't bother anyone they were free to spend there money here.
He leant back in his chair and rubbed the bridge of his nose, he'd being going at this for about 2 hours. "God I need a break." he reached up and massaged the back of his neck and looked back down to the piles of paperwork that scattered over his desk. There was a frayed and crumpled napkin sitting away from everything else. Sam threw it down there and had forgot about it until now. He picked it up and unscrunched and rolled his eyes as he read the hastily scribbled note.
Dearest Sam. Call me, Summer. her cell number written underneath. Considering how lonely he'd been feeling lately, Sam was beginning to contemplate the offer. She was very pretty and made it d*mn obvious she liked him. "Too obvious" he said in a low hushed voice and then picked up the office phone "To hell with it" and began to dial out Summers cell. A commotion out front made him slam the reciever down and rush to the bar front.
His eyes widened in shock, then anger at the carnage that was unleashing before him. Merlotte's was always a place where people could come to be safe. This disruption wouldn't be tolerated. "Hey!" he roared to no-one in particular. "I don't know what the hell is going on, but it stops now. I don't wanna have to call in the cops."

The whole thing seemed to occur in a rush of blurred motion, the pain suddenly found not even becoming conscious until Ivory had a moment to think. Lids fluttering in a confused state, it took her a moment or two to calm and finally realize she was no longer upon Jack's back in hope to preventing hurting anyone...but was a good few feet away from him. Now how the hell did that happen? Though, her stained palms softly rubbed the back of her head in a fluent attempt to remove the sudden stinging from that area, it clearing in her mind what had happened. Jack had thrown her? How confusing could one person possibly attempt to be?
Still, blurs continued to run around her as she fluttered her lids all the more, waiting for it to settle. Voices echoed and she glanced toward the blond who had suddenly grabbed her into her grasp, a gasp escaping weakly. She was sore, that was for sure. "...I...what?" She murmured, raising a brow confused still despite the fact she could clearly note what was going on. Though, when it settled even more her face drew pale of any color noticing the fact that Jack was indeed closer than earlier. Glaring suddenly as she actually pushed herself into Sookie's grasp for some protection out of the situation, she felt her fear actually forming deep within her. He had actually throw her, despite helping earlier. d**n the world.
Still, checking her head was Ivory's main priority, and to find no blood was the only relief she could possibly sum up. After all...if he had gone like that without it, who knew...Cringing some what as she trailed the bump at the back of her head, she sighed and adjusted herself quietly unsure of what on earth to do. Shout back? That would work. "You don't know what happened?" She inquired in disbelief, voice trembling some what in that tremor of fear as she shook her head before flashing a weaker smile toward Sookie in mild thanks. "...Y-yeah...I'm ok. Just a bump" She murmured, tone barely audible as she actually stood in a quick motion; aiding the blond to her feet also before stepping back firmly. Though, more voices seemed to appear and Ivory's cheeks lit up in a blush of embarrassment as she glanced around in nerves. This wasn't so good, and with the dull throbbing in her head due to the pain; it was clear to say it was a disastrous example of a night. Great.

"I..." Jack started, trying to think of a decent apology, but nothing would come out of his mouth. All he could think of was his shame, his shame for resorting back to his berserker mindset, his shame for not listening to Ivory and most of all his shame for causing her pain. The waitress shooed him away from her and Jack rose to his feet as he saw Ivory move toward her. He took a few steps back and looked around as the crowd watched on.
This was not what he had intended by mainstreaming back into society. He never intended for any of this. Then another vampire appeared. It was obvious he was a vampire from the way he moved. Jack grew angry at the sight of another vampire getting involved in his affairs and his fists clenched as he looked at him. "This is none of your concern." He growled back to the other vampire. "Leave us now."
He glanced back to Ivory and his fist relaxed as he stretched a hand out to her. "Please, I am sorry Ivory, I never meant to do that..." He was trying his best, but it felt like it wasn't enough.
With the bar's owner mentioning calling the police Jack knew he couldn't cause any more violence here tonight, as much as he would like to attack the vampire for getting involved when he was not needed. Jack was in control now, and any way, another vampire would not stop him should he berserk again. Jack took a deep breath and bowed his head to Ivory. "Please...?"

Sookie stood beside the girl who seemed to have been enjoying her time but then suddenly all this happened. Bill had heard her call, her emoting of needing him there with her, as always when in danger. She fought the urge to get up and hug Bill, well it wasn't really an urge it was natural. But it seemed the situation prevailed. And Sam, where was he? He was hiding in the office, not having told Sookie where he was, how rude. "You will be alright honey!" Sookie whispered to the girl.
Bill had a look of anger and Sam was about on equal grounds. The crowd was all around and Sookie wished they would disapate, it was making matters worse. The vampire who had attacked seemed to be showing some remorse, stuttering an apology. Did he lose his cool? What was the problem? Sookie could tell he wasnt like those 'friends' of Bill's a year ago, who wanted to terrorize and torture. Sookie looked to Bill "I think we just had a bit of a misunderstanding Bill." She said, still making sure the girl was OK.

Sam looked over at Sookie and the young girl, his anger waned and formed into pity. She was in a state of shock, he gave her an apologetic look. Even though the incident wasn't his fault, it was his bar and his customers were his responsibility. He would check on her later once this had been resolved and the vultures were back at there tables. He gave Bill a small nod, to show his gratitude at being there so quickly and more than likely helping to diffuse the situation.
Sam turned his attentions to the new Vampire and threw him a disapproving look. "I think it's best if you leave. There's been enough craziness for tonight. Go home." He contemplated barring him, but it seemed all he needed was to calm down and think over his actions. "Please." he added as an afterthought, politeness never hurts anyone.

Jack looked at the owner of the bar and snarled before realising it was useless to try and talk his way around it. He had to leave, to let Ivory heal up and to avoid confrontation. He could easily murder them all right now but what would be the point? He would cause more harm then good. Leaving was the best course of action and the only place he could of going to at that moment in time was Fangtasia, where he might find a little peace among his kin.
"Ivory..." He started. "I'm sorry."
He turned and walked away from the bar, deciding it was time he met some more vampires around here, and perhaps introduce himself to the sheriff.

The overall situation was contemplating within Ivory's currently baffled mind as she found her eyes dancing along the floor in a manner of anxiety. Nothing was equaling up, but then again - her senses were indeed a little frazzled. Though, Jack's pleading voice seemed to alert her, causing her plump delicate lips to twist into a minor cringe at the fact she was causing it all. Lowering her head all the more, the curtain of lustrous brunette locks covered the sight of her sapphire gaze as she refused to speak. Nothing would go right, so why even try to heal a situation gone dreadfully wrong. Sighing weakly she allowed a calming breath to escape into the open as she slowly hauled herself from the ground; uncaring for any aid as she rubbed the back of her head - wincing. Jesus.
Glancing around the area to note the crowd so eagle eyed for this juicy galore scene, it almost knocked the young girl sick to the stomach. So they'd simply stand and stare while something that actually didn't include them was taking act? With drawing the urge to spit upon everyone of their feet and faces, Ivory weakly smiled toward the barmaid named Sookie and allowed her thanks to float around a little toward the others. What could she do? Before even grasping onto anything, Jack was gone. Her lids fluttered slowly at that to try and understand how and why, but still - she wouldn't question. Just making sure her legs were indeed ok forced her to glance down and smile all the more; stressed.
"I...I'm fine" She murmured in a quiet tone, patting the back of her head as if in a joking state. "...I'd just prefer to get home" She grumbled, shrugging some what before glancing around. It was a shame none of those staring faces were indeed familiar to her family. At least she could have got a ride then...moo.

Sam watched as the Vampire mumbled an apology and quickly left the bar without another word. He breathed out in relief, glad he left and no-one was badly hurt. The situation could easily have turned even more volatile and even if he shifted into a silverback Gorilla it wouldn't have made any difference. He looked around to see the patrons all still circling around and gawping. "Alright folks, shows over get back to your business." Sam made his voice clear and authorititive.
Jane Bodehouse slurred something incomprehensible about Vampires and "alla the trouble" Sam turned round to her as she propped up the bar, unamused at her unecessary outburst. Even though she was one shot away from alcohol poisoning, that was no excuse. "That means you too Jane." she muttered something else incomprehensible and returned to her drink. Sam noted he should call her a cab as soon as possible.
Sam looked over at the young girl who was still looking decidely disoriented. He made his way over to her and gave her a reassuring smile, "I'm real sorry this happened to you here." he put a gentle comforting arm on her shoulder. "You can go sit in my office for a bit while I sort out a way to get you home. Is there anyone you want me to call for you?" he looked at Sookie and gave her a grim smile. "Thanks Chere, I owe you one."

Sookie was just flabergasted at this little outrage at Merlotte's. She had her fair share of vampires in Merlotte's and hoped they would not venture here again. Then this happened. To a poor innocent girl who was just having, what looked like, a nice drink with a vampire. Sookie of all people understood that vampires can be pleasent and sweet, but also the bad side. She listened to Sam, in his boos voice, clear the scene. And of course, Miss Nosy herself, Jane Bodhouse, was all up in the business. Grow Up She thought to herself.
Same gave Sookie a look. "I can take her to your office Sam. I will make sure she gets home safe." She said softly as she stood up and held out a hand for the girl. "I can make sure you get home honey. Let's just go inside for a bit, Ill get you something to drink!" She smiled a soothing type of smile in hopes the girl felt comfortable. Maybe Sookie could get out of her what happened, if she herself even knew. Resorting to a mind reading was always possible, but Sookie was trying to refrain from this recently.

Sam nodded and smiled at Sookies reply, "That's probably a good idea. You can finish up early Sookie, you've earned it tonight." he gave her another warm smile. He had tried to shake it, but he still harboured feelings for Sookie. But he wasn't going to pursue it anymore, she loved Bill and what made Sookie happy made him happy. Albeit grudgingly.
He looked back towards Ivory "You go with Sookie chere. You'll be safe with her. She'll look after you, she's very trustworthy." he smiled at her in an effort to comfort her and show her that he too was trustworthy. "I hope tonight doesn't taint your impressions of this place."

Despite the nature of the overall situation, Ivory had to admit she felt like a complete burden to everyone. Rubbing the back of her neck as nerves began to over run her petite form, she smiled in a more timid side to her nature and shook her head somewhat. "...I assure you, I'll be fine" She murmured, laughing in hopes to brighten any darkness to the situation at hand. What had happened still confused the brunette endlessly - but who was she to explain what had happened? Still, finding herself giving into the pair of dubious gazes upon her pale form, she sighed and nodded some what in thanks before allowing Sookie to take care of her. "Thanks" She called back, flashing a weak smile before following the blond with quiet steps.
Though, her mind tried to replay everything as a frown formed after some time, eyes dancing in thought and question. "A drink would be nice" She murmured with a light laugh, allowing the blond to completely lead her along as her palms began to fidget with one another in minor nerves that refused to leave. The silence surrounded her as she glanced toward Sookie. "So...thank you again" She muttered in an awkward sense, eyes darting the walls as things became unfamiliar to her. She didn't want to be a burden, nor did she want her brother to become involved. No, she would get home...on her own.

Sookie gave Sam a warm smile. He was always good, always, in every way possible. They had once shared a kiss, but Sookie was just not ready for that. She was more afraid to start a relationship with her boss than anything. Plus, the whole vampire thing. "Ill take care of her Sam." She said as she brushed his arm when she stood up. The crowd was disapating, since Sam came out and he was the owner after all. He held a power over the bar that none other could ever imagine.
Walking into the bar, Sookie made sure the girl was with her at all time. "I'm sorry bout this. Seems vampires can sometimes get off track!" She said with a slight laugh, trying to make light to make her feel better. She listened to the girl ask for a drink and stopped at the bar to grab a cold bottled water. "It ain't no problem honey. I've sure been in positions alot worse than that and the kindness of strangers is something my Grams always taught me!" She smiled again as she reached the door to Sam's office and opened it. "Come on inside. Here." She handed the water to the girl. "I haven't caught your name yet." She asked, since really it all happened so fast the name was the last on the saving list. Sookie wished that the girl would have some thoughts, send something out she could hear. Sookie even pondered touching her to get a stronger thought in case she did not want to talk about what had just happened.
