While all this had been going on, Lafayette had gone back to cooking completely missing what Jason and BB said. He, however, took the time to introduce himself to BB. "Hey hookah, I's Lafayette and I's glad yo like my burger." He said, smiled and then looked over to Jason, who was going off on a rant. Before doing anything about it, Lafayette looked over to Kyle. "Hey, how you doin'?" He asked and laughed. "I's gonna be busy with all these motherf**kin burgers for y'all, but I's not complaining." He danced in a very sexual way to stretch his muscles then said, "You's know what I mean?" He asked both BB and Kyle. He was about to resume his cooking when he realized he had not said a "Thank you" for all their compliments on his burger. Going back to the counter, he said "Oh, thank y'all for ya compliments." With that, he turned away from them and began to make the first burger, for who he had no idea for. "Oh, Jason Stackhouse! You's better get yo ass back over here if you's want my burger." He called over without looking up from the cutting board he was using.

POSTING ORDER
I'm sorry guys, but I will need to put up a posting order on this thread because there have been occasions on this one thread where people get left behind. Please do not leave people behind, it makes it very hard to catch up, especially when those involved in the thread do not have as much time to post as you do.
The posting order is:
Andy Jason Lafayette Brandy Kyle
Since this has been broken, please allow Andy to post next and then if you are not Jason, please hold off on your post until your turn. Sorry, I just hate to see poor Andy and Lafayette get pushed to the end of the line.

The girl that was with Jason suddenly piped up. Who the hell was that? Andy had never seen her around before and now she was talking to a man of the law with whatever the hell she was talking about? "Who're you?" he asked, waving off the rest of her statements, primarily because he could not come up with a come back, but he'll think of one soon...hopefully. "And who gave you a badge?" He could tell she didn't have one and he did not feel much like talking to someone who did not have any proper training in criminals.
OOC Jason: I didn't say anything about Sookie, Andy thought it. When I use italics, Andy's just not saying it outloud. It's just funny to wonder what Andy thinks XD
IC: "I didn't say anything 'bout your sister, Stackhouse," unless you're a freak mind-reader as well, "and all I said was that killing your Gran would be a little too far fetched, even for you. I locked you up cause I saw the video with you and Maudette getting rough on each other and looks like you killed her than ran off. She started laughing, looked like a joke, or it looked like an alibi. Also, if you're so innocent and cute, then why'd you lie to me when I asked if you and Maudette had any relations. Criminals are liers too," he gruffed. It didn't mean that everyone that lied was a criminal, hell, he lied all the time, but criminals lied.
Jason got all hot-tempered again. Now why he was getting his panties in a twist, the drunk didn't know! He just watched Jason and caught the subtle 'another dead girl on your hands, my sister', was he implying that if he hadn't gone to see the Fellowship, he'd kill his own sister?! Did Jason just admit to planning a murder?! Maybe he did kill his Gran if killing his sister was not that far down the list... "S'there something I'm missing, Lafayette? S'Jason having a bad day?" he asked, taking another sip.

OOC: yeah I know I was just indicating that it wasn't a good idea to talk about Sookie, if you had been planning it! *wink*
Jason turned back and poked Andy in the shoulder. "Listen man, I don't plan on doin' nothin' to Sookie or anybody ever. I might not be that bright but I am not a total idiot. You need to call somebody to come get your drunk ass because I think I can speak for every body here when I say we have had enough of your drunk spoutin'."
He could see that his burger was ready and suddenly his appetite out weighed his anger. "You are lucky I am hungry or I would call Bud and press charges for harassment." He smiled at BB and sat back down. The burger was piping hot and smelled better than ever.
"You've out done your self once again Lafayette! One of these days you are going to have to tell me the secret recipe..."

Brandy felt better after the official introduction with Lafayette. Lafayette alone was enough to make Brandy want to keep coming back after all. It was in her thoughts that Andy had interrupted them.
"Who're you?"
"Brandy. Brandy Berry, sir."
Like it or not, Brandy thought, Andy was still an officer of the law so she would respect him. Even if she didn't agree with how he was talking to Jason.
"And who gave you a badge?"
"Huh? Oh, I wouldn't want your job. But I get your point."
She didn't say much after that. It wasn't her place to, and besides, Andy was getting Jason pretty riled up and she couldn't blame Jason for being so.
But ganging up on officer Andy wasn't going to make the problem go away, so she left Jason to fight his own battle (as to which he was doing a pretty good job at it.)
When Jason mentioned something about harassment and sat down to smile at her, she had smiled back. At least now, she was beginning to learn more and more about the crazy little town called Bon Temps.

Lafayette always was a character. Kyle couldn't help but laugh when the other man talked, just his wording and general attitude always poked something in him that made him laugh. But his laughter was quickly cut off when Andy and Jason started to, metaphorically, go at it again. He sighed and looked away from the practically duelling pair, wanting a knife to cut the proverbial tension. At least BB was here, and she seemed to be keeping her calm. That was a bit of a relief.
(OOC - sorry for the crap post, but im lost atm lol)

Lafayette smiled in triumphant. "Thank you's, Jason." He said then looked over at Andy. He suddenly recalled how Andy had scared him straight, not literally, by threatening to lock him up if he didn't confess. Lafayette had hallucinated to the point of seeing Eric's face with Andy's body. Shaking himself of this memory, Lafayette turned back to the group in front of him. "What brings yo' ass to Bon Temps?" He asked BB.

So Jason was threatening Andy with pressing charges. Jason had never pressed charges before, what would incline him to press them now? Then again, them Stackhouses did need some money, and lots of it. He would not be able to pin any harassment charges on Andy anyways, he could always bribe Alcee to back him up, even if bribing was not his style. Then again, pressing charges was not Jason's style anyways. So, he just let it slip by as if there was not threat thrown at him in the first place.
Of course Brandy would not want his job, no one liked the job and they hated those that carried out the law much more than they actually hated the law. He took note of her name, filing it under any crimes revolving around Jason Stackhouse. He just hmphed out a noise and drank some more. Nobody was going to call Portia, not until her services were really needed.
OOC: Sorry, school started today

"What brings yo' ass to Bon Temps?"
Lafayette was speaking to her, and she was about to answer the same way she did when she was asked before ("my car") but then decided against it.
"Call it.. an escape from the life back home. I like it here though, I'm definitely going to be staying awhile."
Her attention was back on Andy now, who seemed to be jotting something down in his notes. Her eyes narrowed, it better not have anything to do with her - she had no reason to be involved.
Or maybe she did, she was Jason's friend after all. And chances were, with her luck, she was going to be involved in things to do with this town rather she liked it or not.

Jason took a big bite of his burger and slug back a swig of beer. "That's good to hear. Glad to get some fresh blood around here. Seems like the same dang people all the time. A boy can get twitchy with a scene like that."
His love for Bon Temps was not like his sister's. He liked to have some place familiar to lay his head but it was more like this was his territory that he needed to protect. Jason wasn't too bright and didn't think he could survive in a big city so maybe it was also fear that kept him here. He had felt a swell of pride when he heard BB's words.

Lafayette smiled his signature smile at BB. "Good cause you's already has a secret admirer." He was implying Jason then made a dramatic hand movement. "That's all I'm saying, hookah." He laughed then looked over at Jason. "Oh hey Jason, you see my cousin lately? She ain't been to work in a motherf**kin' week."

Jason set his beer down. "Naw man, I ain't seen her in awhile. She should be hangin' around with Sookie but Sook's been tied up with vampire Bill..." Jason's eyes went wide. "I didn't mean that literally, fxck, I hope to God that is not what they been doin".
Jason took another drink of beer to try and wash back the perverse images that floated through his head about his sister and her boyfriend. He immediately thought back to Tara. "I don't know Lafayette, that don't seem like Tara to bail. Especially on you or Sam. Hadn't she been hangin' around some new woman who moved to town?"

Lafayette nodded then laughed. "You's a dizzy, motherf**ker." He said then laughed again. "I's know, Jason, I's know." Then a thought crossed Lafayette's mind. "You's mean that crazy-ass white lady?" Lafayette dimly remembered Maryann but he knew Tara had a strange...obsession?...with her and he didn't like it one bit.

Speaking of Tara, here she came, late as usual. The welts on her face looked even worse than before, healing did that to you...right? Things get worse before they got better, isn't that what they say? Whoever they were, though, they could go f**k themselves, because her eye at this time was so bad that it was kind of difficult to see out of. Hopefully people were too scared of her to ask though, and maybe this time Sam would forget to "Give her a talking to". Clad in a blue silk kimono influenced tunic and a short jean skirt, she slipped behind the bar and quickly tied on her apron, acting as right as rain and cleaning glasses, taking orders and doing general barmaid stuff. You know, her job!

Lafayette heard the door opened and looked away from Jason in order to see who'd walked in. To his surprise, Tara herself walked in. She looked more beat up then she did the last time Lafayette saw her like this. He noticed her eye was so big, her could barely see her eye ball. "What the f**k?" Lafayette questioned and then turned to Jason. "Excuse me, Jason." He said and then walked over to where Tara was standing behind the bar. Putting his hand on her face, Lafayette lifted his cousin's face up and checked out the bruises. "What the f**k is this?" He asked, "Who did this to you, hookah?"
