"Well I'll give the coven a real hard think, okay? I'll let you know what I decide, because to be honest, it's such a weird idea, practising witchcraft with people. I mean, I use to do it with my grandma but after she passed, I've always done it by myself," Kimberly said hesitantly. Maybe the reason why she felt so hesistant over joining a coven was because she felt in someway, she was betraying her grandmama by sharing their secret with someone else.
Kimberly was listening to Kyle and Brandy talk some more. The woman upbright asked about the boy's sexual orientation, which caused Kimberly to blush deeply. Mama had always said never talk about sex and politics with strangers.

"You do that" Kyle encouraged softly, not wanting to make Kimberly feel like he was being pushy. He would like her to join them, share her knowledge and stuff. It would also be cool to practise with other people. Together they would be able to do more difficult spells successfully.
He turned from Kim to BB, "Yeah, I like the mens. I thought you knew that...hmm..." He said with an easy smile, giving a shrug.

"Oh, don't feel pressured. Kyle and I will respect whatever decision you want to make. A coven is more.. I think, for me at least, like a club. You meet, discuss spells, but most importantly..
.. you call on each other for help with the real powerful spells when needed. Separately sure, we are powerful - but together we could be a lot of help to someone in the future. The more you know each other, the more your magic will, well.. mesh"
"Yeah, I like the mens. I thought you knew that...hmm..."
Brandy looked at Kyle and laughed.
"No, but it isn't like you had the chance. I haven't hit on you so you haven't been able to tell me 'no way girlfriend!"

"Well when you put it that way, I guess the idea of getting together once in awhile to discuss magic wouldn't be so bad after all. Aside from my grandmama, you two are the only witches I've ever met," Kimberly beamed, feeling more at ease around the two. While it would take some time her to to fully trust BB and Kyle, this was a nice start.
Kimberly couldn't help but to laugh when Kyle was talking about his sexual orientation. It was nice to see him being so open about who he was, it was actually really encouraging.
"How would you two say to getting something to drink? I don't live very far away and although I have just moved in, the coffee maker and the kettle works?" Kimberly asked, her feet growing tired of walking with the lime green heels. She could definately use a drink and a place to sit right about now.

Kyle looked at BB, giving her a mock glare for her 'no way girlfriend' bit. "Im not that gay!" He protested in jest before turning back to Kimberly, becoming more serious again. A smile worming onto his face at her offer of a beverage. "Sure, coffee sounds good. M'not much of a fan of tea. By the way, we should prolly exchange phone numbers or something, if we're gonna be calling each other and stuff."

Brandy thought about it for a moment when Kimberly had offered both of them to join her at her place for tea or coffee. It was intriguing, and Brandy was certainly thirsty.
"Sure, why not? I got all day so I might as well."
Brandy quirked her eyebrow toward Kyle, deciding now would be the best time to pick on him.
"Oh sure... you never offered me your phone number"

"Well coffee it is then. I'm a tea drinker myself. My grandmama introduced my to the english way of drinking tea, with sugar and milk and I can't get used to anything else no," Kimberly smiled happily and gave Kyle a wink. She was starting to like these two, very much so.
"You have to forgive me. My appartment is a tip; just moved in a couple days ago and a lot of my stuff are still in boxes. I promised myself I'd get to it this weekend, but we'll see how it goes," Kimberly almost sing-songed. Tonight was proving to be a very good night so far.

Kyle just quirked his eyebrow right back at BB, shrugging. It actually never crossed his mind the last times they have met... Then he turned back to Kimberly and started following her to her home. "Oh don't worry about clutter, I'm a teenager after all" His bedroom wasn't that cluttered and stuff, but he was a teenager. Messed up rooms were a given. "Do you normally invite strangers back to your hosue?" He asked, mostly teasing her, but a small part of him wanting to warn her against doing it in the future. Goddess knows who they could be...

Brandy was following the group, letting Kyle and Kimberly walk ahead as they headed toward Kimberly's place. Her hands were silently clasped behind her back as Kim mentioned her place wasn't as tidy as she would of liked.
"At least you didn't have to cleanse your place of its haunted evil energy"
Brandy had replied out-loud, even though it was meant to be an 'inner' thought. She looked at the others and shrugged, figuring she might as well explain herself.
"Sam let me have one of his empty duplexes. Turns out a girl had been murdered in there a year before. Sometimes being a witch and being able to sense things like that just sucks"
Kyle mentioned inviting them over, Brandy shot him a glance and wondered why he would mention something like that. She didn't seem like the type to normally offer such a thing, after all - Brandy tried her best to come off as harmless.

"Haunted energy sounds interesting. I have never come across evil energy yet. It sounds most fascinating. How do you get rid of something like that Brandy?" She asked, truly curious. She had only ever done positive spells so this was new territory for her.
"Do you normally invite strangers back to your hosue?"
"Don't be silly Kyle, of course not. I have a good feeling about you two, you both have a positive aura. Besides, I'm fairly good at protection spells," Kimberly explained. She normally never told anyone this much about herself but with Kyle and BB, it seemed more natural than with anyone ever before.

"Really?" Kyle asked, rhetorically, perking up at the mention of her proficiency in protection spells. "Cool! I don't have much experience with protection spells, I mainly focus on the elements and mental ones. I mean I would consider myself a tad all rounded, but I just focus on some...areas more than others, you know? I mean, protection is great and all, but if someone attacks me, for whatever reason, I wanna be able to defend myself and retaliate." He didn't wanna sound like a brute or anything, but if someone had the nerve, the indecency to attack him then he would give them something back in return.

Oh? Kim was curious about her dispelling spell, Brandy perked up - glad that Kim was interested. After all, Brandy had been extremely proud of herself.
"Well, I used a dispelling spell. I forced it's entire entity out of that duplex and cleansed the area of all the negative energy. That kind of demon though.. I will be honest, when it opened it's mouth to devour me - I almost pi$$ed my pants!"
Brandy trembled slightly at that memory, it wasn't a pleasant one but it had made her able to stay in that place and get closer to Sam. Kim had mentioned protection spells, which was what Brandy was more into. That, and teleportation, which was her ultimate goal to be able to do.

Kyle had another way that Brandy had, and she looked at him curiously. She thought being able to fight back was a good idea, but she wasn't partial to the elemental side of magic.
To each witch his or her own.

Kimberly was listening to Brendy talking about the dispelling spell and was in awe. She had of course known witches could perform spells like that but she had always been too timid to try anything like that. She had sticked to protection spells, metamorphing small objects and moving objects. She had so many things to learn.
"Do you think you could teach me how to do that dispelling spell? I have never tried anything like that before," Kimberly asked, her voice full of exitement. Grandmama had never wanted her to try anything even remotely dangerous so maybe now that she was gone, Kimberly would have the courage to try all this new stuff.
"Self-defence sounds like a good idea for our kind Kyle. Maybe we could try to find a good protection spell for us three do to. I would imagine we could be able to perform powerful stuff if we joined our gifts," Kimberly said, truly exited now. She was almost giddy.

"Yeah, definately! After all, three is a magick number. So the three of us casting together should really empower our magicks" Three, one of the most magickal numbers - three fold law, trinity. Power of three...But that's a whole nother story.
"Sure we could teach each other. After all, I'm not that versed in barrier magicks, though I've been meaning to get books on them from time to time"

"Do you think you could teach me how to do that dispelling spell? I have never tried anything like that before,"
Brandy was a little awe-struck at that moment, nobody ever asked her to teach them spells before. Usually witches tended to be very competitive and get easily insulted if someone offers them their help.
"Well, sure, I guess I could. It will come in handy in the future, the world seems to have a lot of dark energies lately.. especially around here for some reason."
Brandy still had not figured that out. Kim seemed to be getting excited, giddy almost - it was infectious. And the thought was there, the three of them could defiantly become a formidable force couldn't they?
"Yeah, definitely! After all, three is a magick number. So the three of us casting together should really empower our magicks
Oh duh. Why didn't Brandy see that before? 3. The power of 3, that was pretty kick @ss now that she thought about it!
"Sure we could teach each other. After all, I'm not that versed in barrier magicks, though I've been meaning to get books on them from time to time"
Witches and their books. Brandy smiled at the thought.
"The mind. The body. and The hands. Something like that I believe...."
