Another day, a day off actually and Brandy was in Merlotte's early. She had been wearing the most unusual pair of funky blue overalls, a yellow tank-top and white sandals. She had her thick brown hair pulled back in a ponytail and she was eying a white envelope in hands curiously.
The bar was empty, as was to be expected at this time of day, so she didn't have to over think herself due to all the rustling and voices in the background. She seemed bothered by the contents of that envelope and with a sigh she leaned back in the booth and waited for a waitress.((ooc: Short, but it's an opening post ))

A booth had been occupied, as to whom claimed it right then and there, is a mystery.Though,Haylee didn't want to miss the patron that arrived and was now flipping to a fresh page of her note pad. While she approached the booth, her gaze was busy looking down in her apron for a pen. That hardly stopped Haylee from noting something, as it befell her lips. "Welcome to Merlotte's!" Clearly enthused and even more proud, when finding the d@mn pen that was nearly lost to her. "What can I getcha?" Was the primary question, asked countless times by many others whom are employed her. When looking up toward her patron, she was a little shocked. Swearing that she knew this person and couldn't help but ask! "Brandy?"

"Welcome to Merlotte's! What can I getcha?""
The voice was cheerful, and it sounded familiar even before she saw the lady who it occupied. Sure enough, when her dark hues glanced up toward her waitress she recognized who it was.
"Brandy?"
"Yep, hey you remembered! And your um.. Haylee right? It's BB actually, and I didn't know you work at Merlotte's Bar. How is life treating you?"
It was nice to run into such a friendly face, Haylee reminded her a lot of Sookie just from the pleasant demeanor. A thought popped into her mind, but she decided to wait until Hayley had the chance to tell her how her day was.

Sam caught a faint trace of BB's scent from his office and without thinking he shot out of his chair and made his way into the main dining area. He stopped in his tracks as he saw his new waitress Haylee taking her order and chatting. So they knew each other too. He weakly waved over to BB, hoping to catch her attention.
"Hey" he said as casually as he could under the circumstances. Everytime Brandy came in she was always surrounded by people. She was a nice person though and with that comes popularity. He smiled, it was good she was settling in and people were being openly friendly towards her. Not that, that would change his mind about her. Oh no.

As she waited for Haylee to tell her about her day, a familiar face coming from the back had caught her eye. She had looked over at for that moment her dark caramel hues had met his and she waved back toward him.
"Hey"
She looked at Sam, and then she looked at Haylee, then back at Sam. What a great idea! Eagerly she had waved Sam over to join her.
"I just got the most perfect idea!"
It was then she opened up the envelope she was staring so intently at moments before. In it, were four pieces of tickets. What they were tickets were to, however...
"Haylee, Sam, would you both like to go paintballin' tomorrow morning with me? If you say yes then all I have to find is one more person and then no tickets will go to waste!"
Over 12 hours to find a 4th? Should be easy! In fact, she already had her 4th in mind..

One of Jason's favorite times to go to Merlotte's was lunch time. He always got his food pipin' hot off the grill and no one was around to distract him from his beer and burger.
As he pushed open the door he was greeted by the familiar scene. Except for Sam (who was now his rival apparently), BB (a girl who chose Sam, hence the rival) and his favorite, a new waitress. And here he thought he wouldn't be distracted. Jason saddled up to his usual spot on the bar and waited.
The blonde was cute and had no clue of him or his reputation. All he had to do was talk to her before they let her in on his ways.

"Jason!"
Just the guy she wanted to see! She had literally jumped up from her seat and jogged over to him. She had a bright smile on her face, and such she had grabbed onto both of his hands and squeezed them intently.
"Please please please come paint-balling with Sam, Haylee and I tomorrow morning. I have one extra ticket and I was thinking you would be the best person to bring along!"
Brandy was excited, nothing like getting out in the wilderness and shooting at each other. With a grin she let go of his hands and motioned toward Haylee.
"That's Haylee, I don't know if you have met her yet but she can be on your team. So what do you think? I'll even buy you a drink if you say yes"
As far as Jason's reputation? Hey, he was her friend - she wasn't about talking bad about anyone. So he had a weakness for girls, half of them threw themselves at him so she couldn't really be mad at him for that.

Oh, it was "BB" and not Brandy. Well, usually she never forgot a name, much less a face! Haylee chuckled and would keep the current moment of correction within her mind, 'Ok, BB. I got it now!" With a smile, her forehead tipped a nod toward her question and replied to it, as her names was 'Haylee' after all. "The one and only." After speaking that line, she felt oh so cheesy and tried to clear her throat. At leas there was a new topic to be distracted with! Life. Well, it had been treating her pretty interesting to say the least. Yet, it looked to be rising up a little, "Doing good, so far. How is yours going?" Hopefully, it was going ok; as she hate to hear something bad. Although, if it was going well at all; she'd love to hear about it. At least it would be the truth and maybe she could help! Somehow.
Just then, Haylee began to hear the sound of her Boss, Sam. Blinking when giving him a glanced before looking toward BB. They were? No! Hehe, Haylee grinned and would have to ask later. Haylee tilted her forehead off to the side once BB had mentioned having, "The perfect idea!" Asking if she'd like to go paint balling with her, now that was a little random. Not to mention, she'd never even been to something like that before. Not that it mattered, the idea sounded like a bunch of goofy fun! "Sam, are we up for it?" Haylee blinked and looked toward him, wondering if that would mess with a work schedule or not. Wow, BB practically shot out of her seat and zoomed over to someone that she's never seen before. One, Jason Stackhouse.
Once she strolled over to BB, she heard a part of her statement. "Hey, don't know if I can go first. I'd really like to though!" It would be sweet-fun. Taking names, being serious? Goof-serioues, yeah. Haylee shook her forehead and once more: Grinned. "Do I get a drink, BB? Something not buzzy. Gotta still work." She tried to gently elbow the woman's side. Speaking of work, Haylee gave Merlotte's the look over and some had looked content. "Today must be a good day, don't think I've gotten any "hey you!" get over here. So uh, far."

Jason was a bit taken back. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down a little for a minute. Paint ball, always a yes, no I don't know Haylee and I probably should get to know if we are to be partners." He also hoped they would be partners for something else besides just paint ball.
"Also I don't know if I trust you or Sam shootin balls at my face or other parts...y'all are wicked and Sam has been known to hold a grudge..." Jason was joking of course. Half way.

"Hey, don't know if I can go first. I'd really like to though!"
The voice had come from Haylee, who had decided to join her and Jason in their conversation. Brandy had quirked a smile and glanced past her shoulder toward Sam.
"You know.. I don't really think that is going to be a problem with your boss Haylee"
She couldn't help but to stick her tongue out at Sam, and then she heard Jason protest.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down a little for a minute. Paint ball, always a yes, no I don't know Haylee and I probably should get to know if we are to be partners."
"Oh well, that is easy. Haylee, this is Jason, Jason this is Haylee. There, that takes care of things."
"Also I don't know if I trust you or Sam shootin balls at my face or other parts...y'all are wicked and Sam has been known to hold a grudge..."
"Huh? Sam? Hold a grudge? Why would he have anything against you? Oh Jason, your so silly. Seriously, there will be rules and paintball's don't hurt that bad. Come on, it is just a morning out with some friends - it will be great"
Really though, she didn't know what Jason was talking about. That 'thing' that happened between Jason and her and Cristina - why, that was water long under the bridge!
"Do I get a drink, BB? Something not buzzy. Gotta still work."
"Oh sure, no problem! I don't mind at all. So what do you say Jason? You can pick up Haylee, get to know each other on the way there and then boom! A couple hours of paintball and we can all go for lunch after ward"

Sam made his way over to BB's table after she waved him over. She seemed really excited about something and it was more than just there pre-arranged date for later that night.
"Haylee, Sam, would you both like to go paintballin' tomorrow morning with me? If you say yes then all I have to find is one more person and then no tickets will go to waste!" Yup. Definetly more than the date.
He was about to speak when Jason, Sookie's brother walked into the bar for his usual lunchtime break. BB rushed over to him, bubbling over with joy, grabbing his hands and asking if he wanted to join them. He seemed hesitant, not really knowing Haylee and saying Sam had a grudge. Sam's eyebrows raised at the thought. Of course he could hold a grudge, couldn't everyone? But he had no real problems with Jason, despite his need to change women like underwear. They never seemed to complain too much.
Haylee seemed expectant too, and asked if it was okay if she could go. Now with all the staff vacanies filled, Sam could afford for her to take a morning off.
"Paintballing sounds like fun. I'm up for it." he smiled at Brandy, another date and even though it was a group day out. Things were starting to look up. "Haylee, if you really want to go to this, I'm sure we can work something out regarding shifts."

Another day, and here he was, in Merlottes. Again. This place was almost becoming a sort of beacon for him. Anytime he was outta the house he would usually come here. Where all the action heppened....sometimes. But today he was here to ask Sam Merlotte for a job. With the killings he might still be a waitress down...so he could maybe fill the spot...as a waiter. He was a teenager, and as such, needed money. Like, right now.
There seemed to be a huddle going on over at one of the booths, from his spot he could make out Jason Stackhouse, Haylee, and Jason. He couldn't see the customer in the booth. Well...now or never...
He wlked over to the crow, al lthe while feeling like he was interrupting something, but needs must as the devil drives...or something. Whatever. "Ah...Sam? Can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked, practically butting in to get Sam's attention. But he wanted to get this over and done with ASAP.

Lafayette came inside from the back door, after spending a good two hours on cleaning up the garbage outside. "Nasty, lazy motherf**kers." He muttered to himself as he returned to his normal spot in the Kitchen. He looked out in the bar to see that it was very busy tonight. He saw Jason and Sam talking with two girls and a guy Lafayette did not recognize trying to get Sam's attention. "d**n, that boy is sex on a stick." He said to himself, referring to Kyle and then looked down at the cutting board. On it were lettuce, a tomato and three carrots. Lafayette was no doubt making some sort of salad. Looking back up to the bar, his eyes fell on Kyle again and rested there for a good five minutes before they went back down and focused on chopping one of the carrots.

While Brandy waited for Jason and Haylee to make their final decisions, Brandy had spotted both Kyle and Lafayette. Oh, wouldn't all six of them going just be a riot?! She could get another pair of tickets at the run and that would just make the game that much more awesome.
Though, would paintball be something those two would be interested in? Well, she was comfortable enough around them so she thought 'what the hell?'.
"Hey Lafayette, Kyle - -"
She was sure to speak loud enough, so both of them would hear.
"What do you guys say? Want to join us for a paint ball session first thing tomorrow morning? If both you and Kyle come Lafayette we will have 3 even teams, that is if you two don't mind being paired together"

"Ah...Sam? Can I talk to you for a minute? a voice from behind him spoke up. Sam turned his head to see a young guy looking at him expectantly. He was a regular to the bar and even though he was under 21, Sam let him in so long as he didn't buy or have anyone else buy him alcohol.
"Hey there, Kyle isn't it?" he said with a distracted smile. "What can I get ya?" Sam presumed he wanted served. So turned his whole body round towards his young customer. Suddenly Brandy joined in asking Kyle (She knew Kyle?) and his short order cook Lafayette to join in the paintballing expedition.
