Kyle let the doors to Merlotte's slam shut behind him. It was a bit chilly tonight so Kyle was wrapped in a thick coat, which he immediatley threw off onto an empty booth, which he then sat in. It was warm inside Sam's bar, so the coat would make him sweat buckets if he continued to wear it. That, and it made getting comfy practically impossible. Looking around he noticed that Sookie was on the floor tonight. Sookie was a bit like Kyle. Different. Everyone knows that Sookie can read minds, though noone knows about Kyles own...abilities.
On further inspection of the bar's cliental tonight Kyle noticed that there was a newcomer. A woman. From what he could tell she was...not exactly dressed for this place. Not that there was a specific dress code or anything, just that her attire was not the norm of Merlotte's usualy crowd. Her clothing was more...well, snobby.

Hearing the door bang Rose could have easily ignored it, but when mainstreaming you are supposed to be as human as possible, this also included human reactions. You fidget, take note of what is around you more often. So turning to see who could possibly enter a bar so noisily she encountered a young human male, 'Of course the younger you are the more noise you feel obliged to make.' She watched him shake off his She watched him shake off his coat and take a seat, and she was sure he could her eyes on him, who wouldn't feel a vampire?
Rose found the young males today very relaxing to be around, she felt more in control, especially if she was in a certain frame of mind. Catching the attention of a barmaid she ordered another bottle if True Blood and continued to observe the new patron. She would have thought for one so young he would have rather spent sis time in a much lively bar than Merlotte's, maybe somewhere in Shreveport, but ten she was never too sure what young peope wanted. It was so different from her time that she founf id she could she would study how humans evolved, but being vampire there were times she was just a little too self-centred to care for such a short-lived being.

As the door opened Pam turned her head. Hmmm, cute, alone, and interesting...perhaps she would amuse herself until Sookie got finished with her shift. Pam grabbed her bottle of True Blood and sauntered over. "Hello dear, how are you this fine evening? Mind if I sit?" She looked him over again. Yes she would definitely enjoy her night off.

Kye looked up at the woman who had, well, adressed him, in her own manner. It was the...newcomer. The one with the...clothes. She was being very obvious in checking him out, and Kyle almost smiled. Oh lady, you're barking up the wrong tree... He gave himself a mental shrug and said "Sure" indicating with his hand that she can take the seat opposite him. Though, this woman was acting a bit like a predator, so...if things got out of hand he could just tell her straight that..well, he wasn't. Plus, he had the magicks if things got reall out of hand.

Pam sat swiftly in the booth and sipped her True Blood. He definitely was a mewing fang banger which was quite the relief. She was pleased that he was so stand offish. Pam wasn't interested in a snack, this was Sookie's bar after all. Pam had been alone most of her dead life and she was always looking for interesting company. She would have perused Sookie but she was taken by two highly competitive vampires and she rather liked her interests available. "I know you might be wary of me, I am a threatening and wildly dangerous vampire. Perhaps exchanging personal information would be enough to ease your mind?" She extended her hand. "It is very much a pleasure to meet you. My name is Pam. Who may I ask are you?"

Ah, so she's a vamp... This should be...different He thought as he saw the woman's bottle of True Blood. So, here goes his first meeting with a member of the undead persuasion. He guess that she was, physically, approximately thirty years old, but she was probably much, much older. That dangerous self confidence was probably only gained through years, deaded even, of doing....vampirey things.
Kyle raised an eyebrow, pleasantly shocked at her blunt words. But he liked that. HE couldn't be assed when people dilly dallied around the point. Kyle smiled and the blond vampress and took her hand, giving it a shake. "Kyle. Pleasure" He said, kind of meaning it. She looked dangerous and threatening alright, but she looked like the type of person to stir things up. Cool. "And don't worry about little old me. I can take care of myself. I have my own ways of biting back"

Pam raised her eyebrows, she was shocked. The last person to do that was Sookie. My, my this was going to be very interesting indeed. "Really, well how exactly would you be able to do that? I know I look easy...based on the fact that I am in female form perhaps. Maybe you have a wooden switch blade hidden under your shirt." She took a swig from the bottle and set it back on the table. "Then again you could always slip me some holy water when I am not looking." His face went blank. "Don't worry you won't ever have me not looking away." He was quite the surprise and she was never surprised very often. She knew there was something different about him and she wouldn't give up until she had found out everything about Mr. Kyle

OOC: Pam, since you have moved on after your rant with me..Im just responding to your dialogue since you walked away already.
Sookie got Pam's True Blood and listened to her rant. "Wow Pam, take a chill pill" She said with a sarcastic tone. Pam was never really mean to her, much more she was always a bit friendly with her which was a bit odd. Though Sookie admired this in a person, Pam was not a person, she was a vampire. "It's fine alright. Ill do this whatever it is for Eric, but there will be stipulations. I do not live at his beckon call!" She responded while preparing the drink for Pam. "Here, enjoy your night off. You aint gonna leave here. There is another vampire here anyways." She said, but as she said this someone else entered the bar.
As Pam took her drink and walked into the crowd, Sookie tuned her mind to try and listen if this person that walked in was vampire or not. As she listened, she found that he was human and a new human at that. Bon Temps was a small town, everyone knew everyone. And this person Sookie had yet to learn. So, doing her duty as barmaid, Sookie walked over to the booth that housed this new person and it seems Pam made a new friend. "Good evening. Welcome to Merlotte's. Im your waitress Sookie, Can I getcha anything?" She asked taking out her order book from her apron while taking a mental not to check on Rose.

"Hello sweet Sookie. Can I ask you a question?" Pam never took her eyes off the boy and motioned for Sookie to lean closer. "I know that vampire over there can probably hear me but this feels a bit more cloak and dagger." Pam glanced side ways with a grin. "Do you know any thing about our new visitor back there or why she would be visiting your bar on this glorious night?"

Even though this woman opposite him was a vampire, and probably knew how to torture him for weeks on end without his death occuring, he still couldn't help but like her ballsy nature. It's not everyday he met someone who was so self-confident so...obviously powerful. "Sorry, no wood on me at the moment" He said, the double entandre not missed on him. Sorry, but she wasn't his type. Female. "And I dare not go near a church. I'll probably burn up" He joked. Being a witch, and gay...yeah. Church wasn't the place for him.
He looked up as Sookie arrived in her usual polite greeting. HE supposed all the waitresses had to say that, it must be in the job training or something. "Ahm, I'll just have a coke please Sookie" He answered, just to see Pam pull Sookie down so she could talk quietly with her. Probably talking about him, since her gaze didn't seem to want to wander from him. This woman was a real predator...

Rose has watched in interest as Pam, a vampire who worked for the sheriff of the ares, accosted the young human male. Maybe I could stay a while longer and see how this plays. As she was served her True Blood, heated to a wonderful temperature, and began sipping, she wondered if he would fall for her charms. Though of course any vampire could just glamour someone, if was much more fun not to. It was a vampire's nature to hunt and what better hunting ground than a bar.

Pam could feel the eyes of the vamp burning a hole in the back of her head. She slid a back ward glance at the older vampire. She wondered if Eric knew this visitor was in town. There was actually a lot of politics and paperwork that was involved with having outside vampires come into a new territory, even if they were just visiting temporarily. She was pretty sure that Eric would have mentioned some thing about this but then again he didn't answer to Pam and she was lucky that he talked to her the way he did. Most makers treated their children like slaves to do their every whim. Eric let her do her own thing and if he felt like he didn't need her at Fangtasia he would let her travel. She leaned away from Sookie and turned her sights back to Kyle. Pam suddenly felt a surge of magics surrounding the table. Pam grinned and understood why she was drawn to Kyle. He wasn't your average everyday human. "So Kyle, what brings you to Bon Temps?"

When Pam cast a...well, not quite a glare, but something pretty close, over her shoulder Kyle sat up straighter to try and follow it. Out of pure noseyness maybe, but also out of curiosity. Pam didn't seem like the type of woman to care about random people. He brought his attention back to Pam when she turned back round towards him. Wouldn't want to be caught now would he. "Actually I've lived here for just over half a decade now. It's only in recent years that I've started coming to Merlottes"

Pam grinned and she took a drink of True Blood. "Isn't that sweet, half a decade is like a spit in the bucket to me. I know its a crass saying but it just feels appropriate what with our surroundings, don't you think?" He was too precious but he didn't seem too interested which made her want him even more. It was just her nature. She didn't know how Sookie was handling her blatant flirtation. Maybe Sookie thought it was cute. Pam hoped so because the last thing she needed was Eric on her back. "This is one of the most fascinating conversations that I have had in a long time. You must tell me everything about yourself. I won't take no for answer. I also will definitely need to see you in Shreveport soon. I work at a wonderful bar down there called Fangtasia. Have you heard of it?"

Rose watched the interaction between the human and vampire with interest, not just them, but to see how the locals reacted to such a flirtatious manner. They didn't seem to take too much notice though now and again heads turned, though this didn't surprise Rose. Most humans still had pretty raw feelings when it came to vampires, but there was another reason this vampire was interesting. She had an aura of authority about her and she new she looked good. Of course vampures especially older ones had the money to lavish on themselves, and they sure did like to have the best there was to offer. This one was no different.
Rose finished off her bottle anf licked the remainder of the synthetic blood from her lips. She had only happened upon here by chance and had decided to call in, she still needed to deal with some business in Shreveport before she could turn in for dawn.
