Lafayette followed Kyle to the base, deep in thought and searching for inspiration. His gun was still placed the wrong way and it was banging against his knee. "Ow, motherf**ker." He cursed and grabbed the gun and placing it across his shoulders and his hands on top of it, resting it in place. He saw the base and laughed. "They's don't know what they's in for." He muttered to himself, they meaning Sam, Brandy, Jason and Haylee. He looked around the base, trying to see clearly in the morning light. Finally, something caught his eye. A pine tree branch was hanging on one of trees, that was easy reach for everyone their height. If he and Kyle could somehow get the flag to stay in the branch without being seen that easily, they'd be golden. "Over here." He said and began to jog towards the branch.

Kyle turned back to Lafayette when he gave him a direction for...something...so he followed the other man over towards a...tree? It took a few seconds before realisation dawned on him with an "Ohhh...." Now, how to get the flag up there, and make it stay up there. "How about...if one of us gives the other a boost and then they can, somehow, secure it to the branch." But how? Kyle wasn't the lightest in the world. Did Lafayette have the strength to hoist him up onto the branch? 'Cus Kyle sure didn't have the strength to hoist the other man up.

Lafayette stopped in front of the tree. He turned towards Kyle and thought it over. Kyle was not that much younger then him but he still probably couldn't lift Lafayette up. Deciding he was the one who needed to give a boost, Lafayette crouched down and folded his hands together with his palms up. "Let's go, boyfriend. Before we's get seen." He said.

Kyle dumped his gun on the ground and grabbed the flag, holding it there for a few moments as he wondered how, exactly, he was gonna get it up into the tree without using his hands...Oh! He put the flag down the back of his t-shirt, the flag part of it securing it so it didn't slide down and out.
He stood on Lafayettes hand and, though wobbley, they managed to get him onto the branch. Now...Hmm... He took the flag out of his t-shirt and wrapped the flag part around the bar. It would make it more inconspicuous, but still detectable. He wasn't breaking any rules. Now, to secure it to the tree..."Hey Lafayette! You got a spare belt or...shoe lace or anything down there?" If they really needed to he could use his own shoe lace, and somehow keep his shoe on his foot.

ATTENTION MOD ACTIONI'm sorry guys, hate doing this, but this board is progressing TOO fast. I have to have a POSTING ORDER: BB Kyle Lafayette Sam Haylee Jason With this many people here, we need a posting order or things get out of control. Kyle has posted I believe 7 times, Lafayette: 4 (roughly), BB: 4, Haylee: 2, Jason: 1, Sam: 2, I believe. This is out of control. Jason has clearly been left behind in the dirt and so have Haylee and Sam. There needs to be a posting order. Since I have stepped in to enforce this, if there are any out of order posts from now on, I will delete them. Sam posts next. KEEP TO THE POSTING ORDER! This was made to keep everyone from running over people in their threads! I know some people don't get on as often, but please, it is very disrespectful. Also, keep your God Modding in check. I have noticed a few posts that are borderline. If you have a character drive you to the scene, please put (any g-modding listed below has permission from {whoever you are g-modding}). This means that no one drives you to the scene unless you have permission from them. This also means that you cannot start assigning people places to be until that character has actually arrived. Please keep those two in check, I will be checking up on this thread to make sure no one is being left behind again. Again, I hate doing this, but I have to make things fair for EVERY member. -Sekhmet

Jason pulled his truck up to the place and parked. The rest of the gang was already here. He got out of the truck and ran around to open the door for Haylee.
"Allow me young lady to assist you and then we can go and kick some newbie ass!" Jason had played paintball many times before and wasn't any way remotely worried about losing this fight.
He grabbed the cooler from the truck and headed towards the rest of the group.

Kyle and Lafayette had gone off their ways, Jason was pumped and Haylee was happy. This was going to be a great time, Brandy was sure of it.
On that note, she had started to get suited up - she was pretty sure everyone heard and understood the rules. She just wasn't sure who was actually going to follow them. Her eyes were on Kyle on that thought while she zipped up her suit and grabbed her gun.
"Time to get going!"
She was grinning, and nodded for Sam to follow. Not that he would object, but she did feel kind of weird taking control like she was. Oh well, somebody had to do it.
She ended up leading them to the farthest edge of the paintball camp. With a thought, she had pulled the flag and looked over the area where she could put it. She had settled for a branch just high enough in the tree to barely reach.
Brushing off her hands she grinned and leaned against the tree, they had to come up with a battle plan.
"You want to stay together or split up? I'm thinking, we stick together until we reach a half way point. Then we split up, I'll go for Kyle's flag? and you go for Jason's flag?"

All those years of being short order cook and what not at Merlotte's was finally paying off. Lafayette looked up at Kyle then withdrew a white string from his pocket. "I's always thinking ahead, motherf**ker." He said, while reaching up to give Kyle the string. "You's aight to get down?" He called, bracing his knees so they wouldn't fall over. His gun was perched against the trunk of the tree and Lafayette was eyeing it warily.

Sam followed Brandy and got suited up, slinging the gun over his shoulder and adjusting the safety goggles. "Ready now." he beamed at her, fixing his cap to accomodate the straps of the goggles.
"You want to stay together or split up? I'm thinking, we stick together until we reach a half way point. Then we split up, I'll go for Kyle's flag? and you go for Jason's flag?"
"Well, you've done this before right?" he asked, "I'll follow your lead and see where it goes from there." He was up for the challenge, but Sam was more or less clueless was to what was required of him. "Though considering my inexperience, maybe we should stick together. It's up to you, whatever you think is best."

Gonna need all the help, I can get." Haylee smiled in that sheepish thought of hers, while finding a little bit of irony in the word "newbie." As she was one, but that didn't seem to get her down as she was generally excited about this game. Naturally, there would be nothing sweeter then claiming victory, but as long as she had fun: It would be all ok. Haylee didn't feel as sheepish as she once did, chuckling at Jason's words. "Do you need any, um-help with that?" Asking, out of wanting to be useful if not thoughtful, when pointing to the cooler. It wasn't exactly polite to point, so Haylee gently steered her fingertip away. Her stare began to wander to the surroundings, which kinda made her feel small. Nature was like that sometimes, to her.

Jason could have carried all the equipment and coolers by his self but he liked a woman who didn't want to just sit around a look pretty...heck who was he kiddin'...he liked those types too. "I guess you can carry the cooler if you really want to, otherwise I got it girl." Haylee was a sweet girl and Jason had never been with an actual sweet girl. It made him really nervous.
"So, uh, well I guess we should leave this stuff here and um get you dolled up...hate for that pretty face of yours to get ruined by paint balls..." Jason set the bag down and reached in for two masks. "Here try this one on, I think it will fit real nice."

(( Very important ooc note. This next post is for Sam/Brandy/Summer plot purposes. Please note that only Sam and Brandy see Summer in the woods. Thanks guy's! ))
"Though considering my inexperience, maybe we should stick together. It's up to you, whatever you think is best."
Brandy pulled down her hat and nodded, Sam did have a point. If they stuck together instead of each going to different posts then maybe...
"Well lets stick together then, but one of us should be a distraction while the other goes for the flag. I don't know what the other's are planning but it is kind of exciting isn't it?"
The bell had sounded, signifying that the game had begun. Brandy got down low, and began to run along the forest edge as she motioned Sam to follow her.
Rustle, rustle,rustle
"Huh?"
Brandy stopped suddenly and held a hand to the side so that Sam would stop. Did she hear something? Wait - she saw something back there. It was...
Brandy bent down and inched closer, her gun loosely at her side. It was a wolf, but the wolf was standing up staggeringly and began to change shape right in front of her eyes!!
She recognized the body as it changed, the slender legs and the slender waist - the long, wavy dark brown hair...
Brandy could only stare at her awe-struck. Did she.. did she just see what she thought she saw??!!
"What the hell.. Summer?!"

Kyle reached down and took the string, tying it around the flag to secure it to the tree. Once that was accomplished he sat sideways across the branch and braced himself before jumping down, landing in a crouch. You do not lang with your knee's straight. Ever.
"Okay, so now all we need to do is start shooting"

Lafayette nodded, rubbed his hands together clean and then jogged up to get his gun that was still perched against the tree. He picked it up and this time, positioned it the right way. He shuddered slightly at the gun making contact with his bare arm but he joined Kyle again, his brown eyes scanning for any sign of movement. "How long is we gonna have to wait?" He asked slightly nonchalantly, adjusting his gun a bit.
