Powerful? Pam? "Really? I just thought that people were scared of you. Didn't actually know you had any...'political' power...for lack of a better term. I'll maybe have to meet this master sometime. And...when you say you 'aquired a human girl', what does that mean exactly?" He had a feeling it was more vampire politics that he shouldn't concern himself with. But he was curious...so he asked.

Pam nearly choked on her True Blood. "No, meeting him would not be a good idea...he is quite older than I and even though he is not directly into the male persuasion he would have no problem taking advantage especially since we are...friendly."
She normally wouldn't mind talking all night about Eric, he was her maker and she appreciated everything he did for her. She just didn't want this relationship to become something else because Eric wanted it to be. Sometimes she could be a little rebellious.
"As for the other, I guess you would call her my girlfriend although she is not that technically...maybe she is the same as your man?"

Kyle's eyes widened - surely he wasn't hearing her right. "You're saying that if ever met your maker he would...uhm...what do you mean by 'take advantage of'?" he wasn't sure he wanted to know, it sounded like, well, like her maker would...'want' him. And that he wouldn't take no for answer...He would have asked Pam more about her girlfriend, but he wanted a straight answer to his question. He wanted to know what to expect...

"Let's just say if my master found out about you and he wanted something from you, he wouldn't care one little bit to force me to get you to do it. He is my maker and if he commands it I must obey. I am not saying you aren't attractive but I don't think he would want you in that way."
Pam propped her elbow on the table and leaned into her arm. "The other talents you posses would be something he would take advantage of if you wouldn't do so willing...I would hate to have to do something that I might possibly regret later."

Well...at least Pam was blunt and honest with him...that was a good thing...right? Okay, so her maker is a more of 'the end justifies the means' kind of guy. that's...not good for him if he wants something off him. "Okay...In that case then I'll just stay off the radar. Not make myself...conspicuous." he half spoke half mumbled, still kind of floored by Pam admission of her makers personality. "I mean, if push came to shove I wouldn't mind doing something here and there and get paid, kinda like a job, you know? But...yeah, maybe I should just stay out of it..."

"If I pay you then there is no reason to be on the radar so you really don't have to worry too much. Just try not to put yourself directly under his nose."
She fingered the bottle and frowned slightly. Kyle was some one she hoped would be a friend in the future and didn't really know if she should open that door. Pam hated to share but with Eric it wasn't really sharing it was more like she gave with out thinking.
"Don't be worried...I will take care of you."

Kyle smiled at Pam, feeling strangley relived when she said she would take care of him. Even though her maker could order her to do anything and she would be forced to do it out of instinct, it still made him feel better. "Thanks...that's comforting. And sure, you need me to do anything just ask...though nothing too gross or...you know. I'm a fragile human after all" He joked.

((sorry, I am a little low on the thinking department))
Pam laughed at Kyle's words. "I promise there won't be anything for you to do that I know you couldn't handle. I don't tolerate failure after all."
"Would you like something else to drink? Maybe something to eat?" A cute boy walked past the booth. "Some one to dance with?"

Kyle smiled, again grateful that Pam was down to Earth and knew what he could and could not handle. "Ahm, well, what have you got? to eat I mean?" To be honest he didn't even know that this place had food of anykind in it. all he knew was that there was bar. (OOC - it's okay, Im not thinking too good either)

Pam grinned. "At Fangtasia, we serve you whatever you wish...if we don't have it we will get it. Your wish is my every command..." Pam snapped her fingers at a near by waitress.
"Darling, be a dear and fetch us the human menu. He is a tad famished and I wouldn't want him to pass out on the dance floor."
Pam turned her attention back to Kyle. "What else would you like?"

Kyle almost laughed as the waitress appeared as if as if a death knell had just rung. The reality wasn't really that funny, but it's not every day that there is such...good customer service. "Ahm...another drink?" He asked, holding up his empty bottle. "Hey, why would there be a human menu? Do humans come here for food or is that only for a select few?"

Pam leaned back. This would be fun to try and explain. "We have a human menu which has food and other drinks and then we have a vampire menu, which has different brands of synthetic blood to order with the select blood types."
Pam looked down at her nails. They needed a good polish. "It helps for both if you aren't a regular and don't have the menu memorized." She waved her hand at the waitress to hurry and get the beverage. "Nothing else piques your interest? Nothing at all?"

Kyle just nodded along with Pam's explanation, accepting it and not asking anymore questions. Suppose if there is food and stuff for the humans it would bring in even more income and it would attract the customers back to Fangtasia. He watched the waitress all but scurry off to get his order. "Well, I had some dinner before I came here so I'm not really that hungry. But drink are just fine. I like drinks"

Pam tilted her head in thought. "I remember a good vintage back in my human years. It doesn't really do anything for me now but I know how you feel. The fresh taste of a young girl, now that is the best drink that I can imagine."
She smiled at Kyle. He was a little uptight at the moment and she wanted him to relax. Hopefully her joke would loosen his tie.

Kyle didn't really know whether or not Pam was being serious or not. Since her facial expression rarely ever changed. "Well...girl's aren't my type so I'll have to take your word for it. Though I'm not one for alcohol, it messes with more than just my inhibitions" Namely my ability to harness my magicks, which either disables me from casting or just messes up the ones that he does cast. "Hey, can vampires drink normal liquids or can you only ingest blood?"
