Sophie-Ann got ready as she normally does on any other normal night. Her clothing assistant/fashion Guru Matt has been the key to her always being one step in front of all fashion styles. She was the one that People magazine consulted when they were doing the Best Dressed of 2009. Little did they know that she would be following them if it wasn't for Matt. She put on the clothes that Matt picked out and the shoes that went perfectly with it. She then went over to her jewelery box. She placed chandelier style earrings on and a diamond studded necklace. Her Bracelet matched and brought it all together.
She then let Matt fix her hair and do his normal grooming duties. She would tell anyone that he was one of her favorite people. As Sophie looked at the over all effect in the mirror she noticed that she was as beautiful as she ever was. Even though she was over a thousand years old she only appeared to be a 15 year old child and she smiled at herself as she headed out to the limo.
Sophie Ann Never arrived at any place without some sort of parade or fanfare. She wanted to go to the bar that her Sheriff of this area Owned. She had heard that it was very nice and the perfect place for finding some little fangbangers to feed off of. As she arrived at Fangtasia She stepped out of the Limo and she simply walked right into the Bar. She nodded at the vampire that was letting the tourist in and she simply walked into the bar like she owned the place.
In Sophie Ann's mind she Owned Louisiana and in essence she owned Fangtasia. She nodded at the fellow Vampires in the bar and she walked right to a table in the corner of the bar. She then waited for some entertainment. She was promised to get some so she hoped that, that promise would come true. If she was lucky she would get to meet Sookie, but she wasn't betting on it.

When Sophie was finished Matt stood back and looked at his masterpiece. She was breathtaking as usual and her fire red locks complimented the rouge tone he placed upon her cheeks and the color of the outfit. And Oh my goodness if those shoes were not the cutest little things he ever saw. He sighed as he thought about how good he would do designing clothing, but then again he wouldn't be here serving the wonderful swan beauty of a Queen. Sure he was gay, but he appreciated the charm, beauty and grace the Queen possessed. It secretly made him green with envy as he wished to be as beautiful as she!
After he was done she went on her way to Fangtasia through the use of her own private limo. Matt of course was going to go there, but he had to dress the part first! He had heard that there were fangbangers there and if he could find himself the right little piece of meat he would just die! Well, if he could!
He whisked himself out of the Queen's private room and to his own lesser, but still fabulously furnished room to change into his own outfit. He wouldn't take as long as she because he didn't have to put make up on and he never wanted to outshine the Queen. He knew his place and while he knew he was gorgeous, he would never take away from the hard work he did all evening.
He put on a pair of leather loafers and a suit coat before he stepped out into the night. He had promised the Queen that he would survey the area and tonight would be perfect. He could report back his findings and they could see what the sheriff had to say about what Matt told Sophie. With one last look in the mirror at his hair he left the exquisite haven of the Queen's and went off to Bon Temps.....
---------
(OOC: Ima bring BB in now and we can do our thread with the intent of her coming to Fangtasia with Matt)
Matt beamed as he made his way into Fangtasia, witch and all. The Queen would be most pleased or disgusted to know that she was going around spouting off voodoo magic or whatever it was they did.
He waved the body guard off as he paid the cover charge for the witch since she was human and then made their way into the vampire bar.
"Look what I caught!" Matt showed off his prize with his chest puffed out and a smile upon his face. "I've got a present for you my Queen." Matt moved aside to show off the witch and placed a hand on his hip as he waited for the Queen to inquiry about the girl.

This was.. very intense for Brandy. She was actually going to see the queen. Not - just - any - queen. But the queen of Louisiana. The big one. The boss. What would some all powerful vampire queen want with a witch like Brandy?
Sure, she was growing more and more powerful by the day. And sure, she could probably be of some use to a queen but - why Brandy? How did Brandy manage to get herself into these kind of messes?
Sam was going to kill her.
Brandy kept close to Matt, well as close as she would allow herself without being 'awkward'. The place was heavily guarded and they were all staring at Brandy like she was either their feast, or less than nothing to them. Freakin' creepy. "Look what I caught!"Brandy tried to look as.. harmless as possible as Matt puffed out his chest to 'show' her off. She felt like she was a walking presentation! Surely her black flared pants and her red sleeveless top that tied at the back of the neck wasn't that impressive. "I've got a present for you my Queen.""Yes, hey - lookie at me! I'm your walking blood bag!".
That was certainly what Brandy felt like standing there the way she was. She felt awkward.. should she bow? Address the woman as queen, insist she wasn't there as a 'donation?'"Your majesty"Brandy bowed.
Hell, even she knew she was in way over her head!

Sophie-Ann Was quickly becoming bored in this little bar. Sure it was quaint but what she wanted was to have some kind of entertainment. She could so go for a quick game of twister with all these people here. Some would be allowed to play and others would be told they were not worthy. Sophie was used to having her lineup of people that were more than willing to allow her to feed off of them. She was also used to her day room. This par was way to drab. After all the money that Eric was making here you would think that he would make some artificial light or something.
Sophie took in a deep unneeded breath and let it out. She was dismissing every single person that came over to her table. To think all these people were here for a thrill, to be able to say that they saw a vampire. Well woo hoo, who cares about seeing a vampire. Sophie was quickly becoming tired of being a spectacle. She was thankful now that she was the Queen and that no one, Eric, could make her stay for any longer than she wanted to. Where was Matt, and why wasn't he done doing what she asked?
Sophie was quickly becoming cranky and a cranky Sophie can be ones worst nightmare. In walks Matt. Sophie was instantly injected with some kind of energy boost. She quickly sat up straight and crossed her legs at the ankles, so that her vintage style dress wouldn't show her undies.
"Oh Matt Dear, Do show what you brought me! I was quickly becoming restless waiting on you."
As Matt stood aside and showed off his catch of the night Sophie instantly became regal and put on her facade of royalty. She stared at the girl that stood behind him and instantly lifted her right eyebrow. What ever Matt was up to she was unsure, but she was determined to find out. The girl addressed her and bowed and Sophie knew that this girl was way over her head.
Who was this girl standing in front of her and what was she doing here. Exactly what Matt saw in her Sophie was unsure but it better be good. She was determined to have some entertainment tonight and she was determined to not have her night ruined by someone who wanted to meet the Queen.
Sophie motioned for the girl to take a seat across from her and then she glared at Matt.
"Explain."

Matt beamed when he saw the piece of art he had performed on the Queen this evening. If he was straight and liked women he might have been in lust with her, but instead he was in love with her. Everything about her was exquisite and charming, even her temper was cute to Matt, because he had rarely been on the other end of receiving her wrath. Plus the fact that she donned everything he suggested for almost every engagement just made him love her that much more. She was like a doll to him or if he had a child she would be the daughter he never had and treat like the princess she is.
Then his princess spoke and there was that tone that Matt had heard when she was displeased. Matt looked at the girl who seemed very ordinary then back to his Queen and smiled.
"Your Majesty, like a book there is more to this human that what meets the eye. I'd never bring something to you so typical and mundane." Matt bowed his head to Sophie and then extended his hand out to the girl.
"This human was seen practicing magic, she is a level three witch!" Matt spoke to the Queen his gaze on her the entire time. And even though he didn't know how many levels there were in the witch world surely the Queen would like to know about anyone that was a witch and anyone that was past a level one.
"She said she can clean my shoes off with a spell, who knows what else she could do." Matt made his way over to the Queen and bent down to be close to her ear so that only she could hear him and not Brandy. "Her name is Brandy and I saw her trying to become invisible, or so I think. I don't think it worked." He didn't know what the girl was trying to do, but it didn't matter. The Queen he hoped would feel the same way and be pleased with him.

"Oh Matt Dear, Do show what you brought me! I was quickly becoming restless waiting on you."
Brought her? So, Matt had been on an errand or something for the queen. The queen was beautiful, and when the look of distaste came over her Brandy couldn't blame the woman - Brandy certainly looked terribly ordinary.
And she couldn't believe she bowed - well, it wasn't like she knew how to act! Nobody taught her such things "just in case you are introduced to the Queen of Louisiana you should do this.."
The queen, through her much distaste, had motioned Brandy to sit down. Brandy did, quite abruptly.
"Explain."
Brandy had her attention on Matt as well, it was true she had agreed to come see the queen but she didn't quite know why. If you were summoned, she assumed, you came when you were told. You also stayed when you were told. Brandy didn't need a war on her little hands.
"Your Majesty, like a book there is more to this human that what meets the eye. I'd never bring something to you so typical and mundane."
'Oh geesh, thanks a lot Matt!' Was that the image Brandy was portraying to the world? That she was typical and mundane? Not worth more than a quick glance because she had a cute ass or something? How depressing!
"This human was seen practicing magic, she is a level three witch!"
Brandy sighed, casting her eyes to the side. She resisted the urge to interrupt and say how close she was to being Level 4. A witch being of any use to a vampire queen. Well, she could be her eyes in the daytime - protect her home from harm, cast glamor spells that were the most basic spells of them all.
Maybe Brandy was.. dare she say, underestimating herself? She had advanced quite quickly through the ranks. Enough to actually be of some use to others, and to herself. Enough to actually fight back.
"She said she can clean my shoes off with a spell, who knows what else she could do."
Well, she said she would try. He had refused the offer anyway.
"Her name is Brandy and I saw her trying to become invisible, or so I think. I don't think it worked."
Brandy had finally decided to speak up. Why she felt the need to correct him, she really had no idea at the time.
"No, actually. I wasn't trying to become invisible.. I was trying to teleport. Teleportation, you know, the act of.. magically transporting your entire body to anywhere you want in the world. I didn't choose to want to pursue that.. ultimate power.. it kind of chose me."
Well, what now? The vampire queen, who she only known as 'your majesty' knew all she needed to know. What did this mean for Brandy though? She would just have to wait and see.

The queen was slightly curious as to What was going on and she wondered what would make Matt want to take such a huge risk and bring in someone to meet her. He rarely did this so she knew it had to be good.
"Your Majesty, like a book there is more to this human that what meets the eye. I'd never bring something to you so typical and mundane. This human was seen practicing magic, she is a level three witch! She said she can clean my shoes off with a spell, who knows what else she could do. Her name is Brandy and I saw her trying to become invisible, or so I think. I don't think it worked."
Well it was typical of Matt to think she was awesome just because she could clean his shoes. What perked her attention was the fact that she was a level 3 witch. At level three she was just beginning to be useful and it would be kind of interesting having a witch on the team. Sophie smiled at Brandy very sweetly and if Brandy knew anything about the queen she would have ran then.
"No, actually. I wasn't trying to become invisible.. I was trying to teleport. Teleportation, you know, the act of.. magically transporting your entire body to anywhere you want in the world. I didn't choose to want to pursue that.. ultimate power.. it kind of chose me."
At this point Sophie had heard enough. She wanted to see proof of this ultimate power and if Brandy was as powerful as she claimed then The Queen wanted her on payroll. It was a bonus that She was very cute for a witch and would actually fit in well with her other employees.
"Brandy, do forgive me for being so rude darling. My name is Sophie-Ann Leclerq, and as you know I am the Queen of Louisiana. I am so glad that you agreed to accompany my Matt here to meet me."
Butter her up and she will do anything for you. One of the first things she ever learned was that you can catch more flies with honey then you can with vinegar.
"I am not going to beat around the bush, but we are in need of a day person. Someone that can protect us as well as do things for us that we are unable to do at night. What I want to do first is test your abilities. Would you be willing to do that, and what exactly do your abilities consist of?"

A sweet smile. It probably was a good thing she didn't know anything of the queen. Running away would of put her in a whole different kind of predicament. Even as the words about teleportation left her lips she could see the queen's interest perk up..
a lot.
"Brandy, do forgive me for being so rude darling. My name is Sophie-Ann Leclerq, and as you know I am the Queen of Louisiana. I am so glad that you agreed to accompany my Matt here to meet me."
Brandy was silent, but she wore a polite smile. At least the queen was glad to have her there. But Brandy sort of knew what was coming next, and sometimes Brandy was just too darn nice for her own good.
Too nice, or a d@mn sucker.
"I am not going to beat around the bush, but we are in need of a day person. Someone that can protect us as well as do things for us that we are unable to do at night. What I want to do first is test your abilities. Would you be willing to do that, and what exactly do your abilities consist of?"
Oh. Coming right out with it, well - Brandy supposed that was better than beating around the bush so to speak. It was too late to protest, and Sophie didn't seem like the kind of vampire to take rejection lightly. Brandy was on the frying pan now, she had no desire to jump into the fire.
"Well, I am confident enough to offer you a protection spell in the day. This will put up a barrier around the exterior of your dwelling, it will give humans a strong urge to not approach - as much to give them an intense feeling of being sick to their stomach. They won't know why, all they will know is that it is a place to stay away from."
Brandy never considered how much a spell like that would benefit a vampire. And to add that, she hoped the queen wouldn't be advertising it either. Brandy would never get any rest! A protection spell like that would - - oh.
"But, I will be honest with you. A spell like that does weaken me throughout the day. At least, my magic abilities. I would only be able to keep it up during the light hours - I don't have the strength to make it a 24 hour spell."
Then, there was matter of doing other things for them during the day. Brandy knew she would have to draw a line somewhere - she needed money, she needed Sam, and she needed some sort of life. But how could she express that without sounding disrespectful to the queen?
"And please, forgive my.. disobedience in some area's Sophie - I mean, your majesty. I don't mind setting up a protection spell so that you feel safer in Bon Temps but I do.. well I am in a relationship and I have friends that would worry if I am gone all the time.
If you like, instead, I wouldn't mind spending a couple hours a night with you to make your stay more comfortable. I know that even a queen can use an occasional companion. And as far as my magic goes, as long as you aren't expecting me to melt a person's insides - I am at your disposal"
Brandy should of stopped at the protection spell. Seriously.
"You mentioned what kind of abilities I have. Teleportation is what I am working toward, all I seem to be able to do is teleport my foot a couple of inches away from me. It is really awkward. I specialize in protection spells, dispelling spells, reading body language, casting out evil, manipulating muscles to speed up healing, locater spells.. among others. There is actually, a lot I can do.. I just prefer the more uh, should we say.. defensive side of magic? I have a couple friends who - -"
Brandy stopped. It would probably be best not to get Kyle and Kimberly involved. They would never forgive her for it.
" - - who are quite amazed by what I can do"

Matt was beaming when the Queen referred to him as 'her Matt.' He had done well by bringing Brandy to the Queen and he smiled at Brandy as she talked about all the things she could do with her magical abilities. Protection spell during the day? Well that would be nifty....he wondered if she could do the same thing with some of his personal possessions, like the wardrobe he picked out for the Queen, his own wardrobe then there was his hair and beauty supplies. He would ask Brandy later if she wouldn't mind putting something up to keep all the greedy savages away from his personal belongings!
Matt stepped away from the Queen for a moment, offering her a smile as he went about to get some True Blood from the bar and almost as soon as he was gone he was back.
"Well my little fawn if you are as good as you say you are and a quick study, no wonder your friends are amazed." Matt took a sip of the True Blood and walked around to her side to size her up again. While he liked the personality of the girl, he felt the urge to reach out and touch her dark strands.
"I hope you don't mind." Matt gently placed a finger on her hair and pulled a few strands between two fingers. He rolled it around and then he smiled. "Herbal Essences? A more flowery one than an herbal one." Matt let go of her hair and placed a hand on his hip as he looked around the room to see if anything else was going on. "My personal favorite is Sunsilk, it lets my hair get the nourishment it needs and makes it look stunning." Matt returned his gaze to the Queen as he waited to see what she would say to the girl's responses.

Sophie heard Heavens angel's sing as Brandy spoke to her. It was obvious that she was holding back with some of her knowledge and it was also obvious that she didn't know exactly what she was dealing with. If Brandy only knew that Sophie had always gotten what she wanted at least for the past 600 years or so and the habit of getting your way is hard to break.
Brandy was concerned with her friends and those that she loved, but if she was as concerned as she claimed then wouldn't have been flaunting her skills in front of Matt. Sophie Ann kept her sweet smile on her face. If Sophie insisted upon Brandy taking vampire blood it would increase her strength and it would also make it to where she had a tie to the Queen. The only question would be who's blood would she take. Matt of course would be a willing donor, Andre would be willing as well, but the Queen was thinking she should be the donor, that way she would personally know what was going on with little Miss Brandy.
"Well My Dear, it is obvious that I would never ask you to do anything that was out of your abilities. If you are not a high enough level to do the spells that we need, I would just have to go somewhere else."
Sophie was being highly coy with Brandy. She figured from the outbursts that Brandy had that she was very proud of her spells and she was also not one to let her abilities be underplayed.
"I am always looking for someone that I can do business with, and I am always open to anything that will help me in the future. I pay all my employees very well and they are handsomely rewarded for helping me. As to visiting me at night, I would love that Dear, but I think that I really need someone that would be willing to help me."
This Brandy was not going to get away from the queen. The queen was a master in the art of Manipulation, and Brandy was someone that was not going to come crawling for a job with the Queen.
"I am sorry to waste your time Brandy I am guessing that My Matty here just thought you had better abilities than you really had. Especially since we don't want to weaken you during the day. Matty you can escort her home."

"Well my little fawn if you are as good as you say you are and a quick study, no wonder your friends are amazed."
Brandy really couldn't help but to glance at Matt. She almost cringed, she wasn't really that.. well, she wasn't really like 'oh look at me and what I can do'. She just said that so that she wouldn't 'accidentally' pull Kyle and Kimberly into the mess she was now into. Now, she was forced to continue this serenade just to avoid having to mention them at all.
"I hope you don't mind."
Mind? Oh, he was talking about her hair. She really didn't, in fact it felt kind of nice to have him touching her hair. Almost comforting - no, definitely comforting.
"Herbal Essences? A more flowery one than an herbal one."
Brandy turned to look at him, a look of admiration on her face that he would know her shampoo just by the feel of her hair. He then mentioned Sunsilk, a brand she remembered seeing in the store, when the queen interrupted her attention.
"Well My Dear, it is obvious that I would never ask you to do anything that was out of your abilities. If you are not a high enough level to do the spells that we need, I would just have to go somewhere else."
Oh. Wait, what? This was a sudden change of.. heart from the queen. Was Brandy disappointing? Did she say something wrong to upset her? Maybe it was because she mentioned how much it would weaken her - it wasn't like she was the "Super Witch" of Bon Temps. But now, now she just didn't want to disappoint the queen - more over, have her disappointed in Matt for choosing her.
"Well, wait I, I don't mean to be, well I. Uh. I mean, I could keep it up I guess, maybe I could get help if I needed it. I know a couple of witches that might be able to uh.. assist me if I needed - -"
Wait. Wait a minute! Oh $hit, what was she doing? What was she saying? Why did being in front of the queen make her so bloody nervous? If she had to pull Kim and Kyle into this she would never forgive herself. They might not forgive her either!
"I am always looking for someone that I can do business with, and I am always open to anything that will help me in the future. I pay all my employees very well and they are handsomely rewarded for helping me. As to visiting me at night, I would love that Dear, but I think that I really need someone that would be willing to help me."
Crap. This queen sure knew how to guilt trip Brandy into doing what she wanted didn't she? Brandy had her head down, her foot slightly twisting into the polished floor underneath it. The money had nothing to do with it, though Brandy could always use some extra money - it was the fact that she had to prove herself to be stronger and she was already feeling as small as a beetle at that moment.
"I never said I wasn't willing I just.. have limitations that is all. I mean, your a beautiful queen who is admired by everyone she meets. You earned your place for a reason and I would be honored to even help a little. Surely that has to be worth something is it not?"
"I am sorry to waste your time Brandy I am guessing that My Matty here just thought you had better abilities than you really had. Especially since we don't want to weaken you during the day. Matty you can escort her home."
Ouch. What a low blow. Brandy bit at her lower lip as Matt were to approach her to take her home. She couldn't leave the room like that, she couldn't live with herself being such a disappointment.
"Wait.. Ms. Leclerq. Please, just a moment?"
Her head was low, but she struggled to take a breath and forced herself to look at the queen and take a step forward. The queen was a proud woman, and she wasn't a woman Brandy had wanted to make angry.
"I can be an ally, and a good one. I may get weak during the day but my will is strong. And my powers are growing, I am going to be a level 4 before you know it. At least the protection I can offer is better than no protection at all, and surely even a beautiful woman such as yourself could use the insight of a witch? I don't want you to think Matt brought you somebody that was waste of your time. Because I assure you, your majesty, I am not a waste of anyone's time."
Oh, the determination in her eyes right then.. she might of been foolish, but at least that was there.

Matt's jaw almost dropped when the Queen told him she could take the girl home. But it was when Brandy started to back peddle that he realized the little fawn was doing just what the Queen wanted her to do. A big smile pulled on his face and a look of inquiry spread to his face as he heard the mention of more than one witch. Brandy knew of more witches. Did that mean there was a coven around Bon Temps? If there was he'd gather them all up and bring them to his precious little doll of a Queen.
"Yes. Being a level four and a set of eyes for us would be very beneficial." Matt mused to himself aloud as he took a seat on the opposite side of Brandy and the Queen so he could stay close to her and whisper ideas into her mind.
"And she has connections." Matt lowered his voice into a tone of silk almost. "Imagine the possibilities." Matt wondered what her friends could do and if they would be as willing as his fawn to help out vampires. Brandy did say not all liked vampires, he was willing to find out how true that was.
"And besides, until she grows stronger it is always nice to know what is going on around Bon Temps. The city seems to be full of potential." Matt spoke up so that Brandy could hear him this time as well.

Sophie Ann took a huge, huge risk in acting like she was uninterested in the abilities that Brandy had. The only thing is she would have been happy to have Brandy work for her regardless of how good she is. It is always good for a Vampire to have friends in all species, or at least to have some allies in all species. The thing that Sophie knew was that there was not point in even trying to have someone work for you if they don't want to be there. Of course she could force them, she was the Queen after all, but the only thing that would gain her in the end is an enemy. That was one thing that Sophie had one too many of as it is.
The sweet smile never left Sophie-Ann's face the entire time Brandy was talking to her. It was hard for Sophie to actually contain the joy she was experiencing in Brandy's reaction. This whole situation could not have ended up any better if she had scripted it her self. This was the mark of a true expert in the art of being a Ruler. One had to know how to rule the people without them feeling that they were being ruled.
"I am so sorry, I didn't realize how passionate you are about your craft. You May work for me and you position as Ally will be secured once you prove yourself."
Sophie then looked toward Matt and she quickly winked at him in a way that Brandy would be none the wiser about it. Sophie was so ready for a change of pace. She has gotten what she wanted and she was ready to do something else. She was a Queen that could get down to business very quickly and yet she could play with the best of them. She had hoped that there was something in store for her later on, but one thing she needed to get to the bottom of was these mysterious helpers that Brandy has. Does this mean that Witches are like Vampires and Weres Where they actually have groups, and the occasional rouge/loner?
"Now Brandy Since you are working for me now we need to hurry up and take care of some house keeping. If you needed help with something then how do you go about getting that help. I would think that it would be wonderful to see a few of you perform your craft. Is it exciting?"
Sophie was trying to get on a best friends level with Brandy and she hoped this would be the key.
"Matty Dear, Don't you think it would be fabulous to see them perform?"

(( ooc: Ha Ha. Watermelon! Cute! Okay, that's done - time to get into character ;D I probably have to PM Kyle and Kim as well, to get them here.))
Determination. Chalk that up to pride, and other things that made her who she was. The fact that, as she looked toward Matt, she had already grown attached to him. A bad trait of her's, maybe, to get attached to someone so quickly but his flamboyant personality made it impossible for her not too. It was because of this that she wanted his queen to be happy with him, and in a weird way.. she wanted the queen to be happy with her.
"Yes. Being a level four and a set of eyes for us would be very beneficial."
Oh. that voice was coming from Matt, she couldn't help but to let out a breath of relief. Brandy of course, didn't know what was really going on so of course Matt talking about her made her to want to help even more. There were other words, she couldn't really make out, but she wasn't exactly worried about it either.
It wasn't like they were making fun of her shoes.
"And besides, until she grows stronger it is always nice to know what is going on around Bon Temps. The city seems to be full of potential."
Oh it certainly was. There was so much supernatural activity in Bon Temps that it even threw Brandy for a loop. The fact that tonight was the full moon and in two days she would be taking off to Dallas - oh, right, she made a note in her head she should probably tell the queen about that if she decided to keep her around.
"I am so sorry, I didn't realize how passionate you are about your craft. You May work for me and you position as Ally will be secured once you prove yourself."
Brandy was actually, gleeful. What a strange thought, but she felt like she received some sort of high honor and was being recognized by someone who lots of people wanted to be recognized by. Some part of her knew that it wasn't that far from the truth.
And besides, lets be realistic - if you had the queen of Louisiana as an ally that had to be a good thing right? Better an ally than an enemy, just her position of power alone was probably enough to get you killed. Very fast, should you cross her.
"I must assure you, your majesty, that this is a great honor for me. And I will do my best to be an ally you can count on. Both you and Matt."
She couldn't but to quirk a smile toward Matt, it was just the type of person she was. Though there was still the little fact that Brandy, quite accidentally, had pulled Kyle and Kimberly into this. It was eating away at her, and she didn't know how angry they would be - or maybe, even, intrigued? She could see it coming, and sure enough - - -
"Now Brandy Since you are working for me now we need to hurry up and take care of some house keeping. If you needed help with something then how do you go about getting that help. I would think that it would be wonderful to see a few of you perform your craft. Is it exciting?"
Brandy tilted her head, and reached her hand into her pocket, toying with her cellphone. She had their numbers, they were only a phone call away and she was certain they would probably answer her phone call. Witches' code and all.
"Matty Dear, Don't you think it would be fabulous to see them perform?"
Perform. Brandy felt like they were a circus act, but not in a bad way. It actually brought the most curious of smiles to her face. Before she got to dialing them up, however, (which she knew was going to be expected anyway) she decided it would be best to let the queen know of her plans for the next couple of days.
"I will call them soon, it will be a load off my shoulders to know you will be protected during the day - so I would like to get that barrier up and ready for you as soon as possible. But I must tell you that I will be going to Dallas the day after tomorrow to help out a friend. I will probably be gone for a couple of days"
She didn't want to just take off and not give the queen any notice or notion of it, not only was it rude but it would be disrespectful.

Matt beamed and chuckled at the idea of Brandy and her witch friends performing for them.
"I think it would be ever so interesting, like that time when Britney Spears cut off all her hair. No one could take their eyes off the girl!" Matt waved a hand in the air as Brandy informed them about her trip to Dallas.
Ewww. Dallas was full of wanna be cowboy vampires and their little fawn would be wayyyyyy over her head there. Matt's eyes went over to the Queen, a look of concern plastered on his face.
"Dear fawn have you ever been to Dallas?" Matt stood up and shook his entire body. "The vampires there are NOT like the ones you see here in Fangtasia or Bon Temps." Matty looked to the Queen and with a bow he addressed her.
"Our little fawn will be in waters too murky for her to swim out of. Might we send someone with her? I don't have anything too useful going on, other than making you look beautiful of course." Matt smiled to his doll of a Queen as his eyes went back to Brandy. He would stay here if she ordered it but he was hoping that out of all the vampires in the Queen's traveling party that she might send him with her.
"We don't want damaged goods obviously." Matt shrugged his shoulders casually as if it was an almost business transaction, but he liked the little fawn and didn't want her to end up anyone's dinner.
