Damian was a little nervous to come back to Merlotte's. The last time he was here he almost cheated. He was hopping to God that Lafayette wouldn't be here. He couldn't cheat on the only person he ever loved.
'Alicia...Alicia...Alicia...', he thought before walking into the bar and looking around to find nobody in particular. He smelt a magical human, witch, at the bar. He decided to go there. "Hello," he said politely before taking the seat next to her.
He looked up at the bartender who happened to be a Shifter. He didn't want nothing to drink. He technically wasn't old enough either. He needed Alicia but he couldn't get Lafayette out of his head. 'Alicia...Alicia..'he began to mentally chant. "I am Damian Stewert."

Yep. She was at the bar. Where she usually was if she wasn't out with Sam or at work. Even if Sam was in the back, or behind the bar, it felt almost necessary to be close to him whenever she could. Tonight was no different, she was in her usual seat by the bar - her legs crossed and her slender fingertips casually working a red straw around the creamy white liquid of her Pina Colada.
She felt a body slide in close to her, and she turned to the source.
"Hello,"
Well, this was odd. The guy that took a seat next to her was, well hell he was good looking. Not that Brandy had eyes for anyone else but Sam, but hey - she wouldn't knock that this one was cute. But why did he sit beside her? There were a few scattered seats around the bar.
Brandy eased back, looking around her. Alright, so even she had to admit - of all the free seats that were close to other people, she was probably the most comfortable to approach.
"Hello"
A moment of awkward silence.
"I am Damian Stewert."
And apparently she warranted an early introduction. Brandy smiled, extending her hand to him.
"Brandy Berry. So, Damian was it? What's your poison? I'll buy you a drink. Your mind looks very.. preoccupied"
There she went again, her intuitive nature to watch people's body language kicking it into overtime.

Damian starred at the witch and how would she know he was preoccupied in more then one way. His mind drifted to Lafayette and he looked to see if he was here, he wasn't. Damian sighed in relief. He just got a phone call that morning from his girlfriends parents and it wasn't good news. And now that she was missing, he was checking the area in which he was.
Then his thoughts were inturupted by a question and offer. "Brandy Berry. So, Damian was it? What's your poison? I'll buy you a drink. Your mind looks very.. preoccupied"
"Nice to meet cha Brandy. I am just a tad to young to drink." His eighteenth birthday was yesterday, the day his girlfriend went missing. Her parents said she left to come see me, but she would of been there that morning and when she wasn't they freaked out. Now he was to because he feel for someone else and now she was gone and he had no idea where she went.

"Nice to meet cha Brandy. I am just a tad to young to drink."
"Oh? Really? You don't look that young. I guess I'm a bit slow on the uptake - I just don't expect to see minors in a bar. But, in all fairness, it is not fair to be kept from one of Lafayette's burgers just cause your under 21"
Lord, she could eat his burgers all day! She would gain about 10 pounds a week but it would be worth it.
"Let me get you a virgin at least, you look like a guy who could use a virgin"
A virgin pina colada? Well what if he didn't like coconut or something - she should probably ask him first. And.. there he went again. He was obviously worried about something.. or someone?
"Hey, listen Damian. Why don't you just relax for a moment and have something to eat with me? You have no idea the kind of worried vibes your giving off right now - "
She resisted the urge to pat him on the shoulder, and instead padded the counter to get his attention away from whatever was on his mind.
"It is a little known fact that virgin strawberry daiquri's go very well with a nice big plate of fries - you interested?"

"Yeah I am 18. I had one of his burger's. It was very good." 'That wasn't all I had or all that was good.' His mind flashed back to that day. His second day in Bon Temps and first at Merlotte's. 'Alicia...Alicia..' he had to get his mind on more important things other then Lafayette.
"Let me get you a virgin at least, you look like a guy who could use a virgin"
"I need a lot more then that," he said sounding all tired. He guessed that he looked that way too.
"Hey, listen Damian. Why don't you just relax for a moment and have something to eat with me? You have no idea the kind of worried vibes your giving off right now - "
"I am not surprised your getting that." He really wasn't he knew sitting next to a witch was a good ideal. She could help a lot and she was very nice.
"It is a little known fact that virgin strawberry daiquri's go very well with a nice big plate of fries - you interested?"
"Sounds spectacular," he said with a little less entusasim then he normally would have. Damian hated this feeling, he was always talking and happy. But then again he knew where Alicia was or at least that she was alived.

Summer was in the modest little ladies room in Merlotte's, giving herself a once over in the mirror. She had let her hormones get the better of her and she had a little moment of anxiety. Leading up the full moon was a royal pain in the ass. She stood in front of the full length mirror on the wall beside the door and she put her fingers through her long brown hair, fluffing it up and making it fuller.
Once satisfied she didn't look like she'd been sleeping in a ditch, she gathered her thoughts and put on her best confident smile and walked out into the bar and gave Sam a small wave before moving towards the table Brandy had sat at. Her nose picked up on another Were immediately and her eyebrow raised. What was Brandy doing sitting with another Were? Though she'd not exacly know that.
She got closer and her eyes found there way towards the male figure next to her best friend and she coughed in a not so subtle way. "Oh B, aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?" Summer winked at Brandy and flashed a mischevious grin.

Sam was lurking behind the bar. He was agitated as most shifters were during the lead up to the full moon. His skin itched and all he wanted to do was tell everyone to get the hell out so he could close up and go for a run. But how to explain that one?
He sighed and looked over at his girlfriend, Brandy. A scowl hit his face and his eyebrows bunched in the middle. She was sitting with a young man, definetly two-natured. Most likely a Were. He wasn't pleased with this scenario, but to go over there would make him look like an utter fool.
Summer came from out the restroom and gave him a small wave. He grudgingly waved back, before offering an apologetic smile. He figures she of all people could understand his problem.

"Yeah I am 18. I had one of his burger's. It was very good."
Brandy looked at Damian curiously, was it? Nah.. she had to stop reading into people's body language so much. It was a bad habit of her's.
"I need a lot more then that,"
"Ha! I am sure we all do"
Poor guy, she didn't know what was up with him. Whatever it was, nothing a sweet drink and some fries couldn't cure! He mentioned not being surprised she could pick up on his feelings.. was he something.. supernatural too?
Brandy had a habit of running into shapeshifters, werewolves, and vampires lately. Maybe it was just this town.
"Sounds spectacular,"
Brandy waved down Arlene, who had come over in a jiffy. Brandy ordered two fries and Damian's drink. Once the order was finished, she saw a familiar face stroll into the bar.
"Oh hey, Summer! Come join us"
She waved Summer over, and that was when she spotted Sam. Oh.. he didn't look too happy. He was giving her that 'who is that with you?' kinda look.
"Oh B, aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?"
"Oh right, of course. Summer, this is Damian. Damian, this is Summer. Damian and I just met, but he is feeling a little down so I'm buying him some fries and a virgin to wash them down with"
Brandy returned her attention back to her drink, she had a feeling there was something more to her.. newest acquaintance. So she was interested in learning more about him, but that look Summer gave her.. did she know something she didn't?

Damian noticed a funny reaction that the shifter behind the bar did when he saw him. 'Is he with her' Damian thought, even though he didn't care. A were appeared and happened to know the witch, Brandy or BB. She was pretty but he couldn't think about other girls or guys. "Hello.." he said with a tiny smile, he was wondering if the witch knew who she was dating or who she was hanging around. 'Probably,' he thought, witch's knew more then normal humans did.
Then the food and drink came and he was just a little happy but less. He started to remember about Lafayette and the burger and fries he ate and the stuff that happened later. Damian blushed. "Um..May I be excused ." He was already mad at many things and the full moon wasn't anything better. He noticed the other Were and shifter were a little less happy as well. He got up then walked to the bathroom and threw up. He was so worried about his girlfriend and mad at himself as well as the moon. These would be the times in which he hated being a were.
Damian washed up. He calmed down and took a couple breaths before exiting the bathroom and checking who was cooking. 'Good it wasn't Lafayette' he thought before sitting down and began eating the fries and drinking. "Sorry about that," he said absentmindedly.

"Oh right, of course. Summer, this is Damian. Damian, this is Summer. Damian and I just met, but he is feeling a little down so I'm buying him some fries and a virgin to wash them down with"
Summer nodded to the young Were, he was preoccupied with something. Something other than the impending full moon activities. Suddenly he got up from the bar stool and excused himself and he rushed off to the men's room.
Summer looked at Brandy a faux look of hurt on her face. "You know I'm starting to think I should change my perfume." Summer slid onto the bar stool at the opposite side to Brandy. She'd be surrounded by Shifters, Summer couldn't help but grin. "Oh, that looks good." Summer was almost drooling at the sight of the food and snuck a few fries from Brandy's plate. "Sorry, I ain't ate since lunch. I should get one of those huh?"
Summer turned to Sam and pointed to Brandy's plate and put on a sickly sweet voice. "Can I bother you to put in an order for me, for one of those." she finished with a flutter of her eyelashes before giggling at herself. She loved teasing Sam, he was just such an easy target.
Damian came back from the men's room and apologised for his abrupt departure before sitting back down beside Brandy.
"Oh don't apologise sweet cheeks." Summer said leaning over, waving her hands. "Ya gotta go, ya gotta go. Right?"

When Damian asked if he could be excused she watched him walk toward the bathroom curiously. Something was definitely wrong. Would it be rude for her to pry? If it was something serious, Brandy would feel obliged to help him. Especially if it involved any kind of magic.
"You know I'm starting to think I should change my perfume."
"Huh? Oh, no I don't think it had anything to do with you Summer. He has been kind of.. on edge since he walked in. Do you think he sensed I was a witch? Because it feels like he is reaching out to me... "
Maybe there was a double shot in her drink that Sam hadn't told her about. He was tricky like that, and she was about to tell him he didn't need to get her drunk to have fun with her..
"Oh, that looks good. Sorry, I ain't ate since lunch. I should get one of those huh?"
Brandy couldn't help but to laugh slightly, though if she kept on eating them Brandy would be forced to order another plate. Luckily, Summer was already bugging Sam for an order. It was on this note that she saw Damian come back from the bathroom. He was more pale than he was before he went in there..
"Sorry about that,"
"Damian uh.. listen is - - "
Before Brandy could ask her question, Summer had chimed in.
"Oh don't apologize sweet cheeks.Ya gotta go, ya gotta go. Right?"
Oh that voice, the way she said that - it was hard for Brandy to control her giggles. Summer was just awful sometimes! Brandy's reply was just lightly patting her friend on the shoulder. At least one of them seemed to be in a playful mood. She had to look at Sam at that thought - he wasn't in a very playful mood at all.
"As I was asking. Damian, is there something bothering you? Because, as much as I'm sure sweet drinks and food will make you feel better, you seem to be really bothered by something. Did you want to talk about it?"

The walk from the Impala to the front door of Merlotte's had been a stressful one.
It had been about 40 minutes ago when Kaelyn had realized that she hadn't eaten a thing in over 24 hours. Her stomach's sudden protest had sent her on an odd journey involving asking an old man for directions to the nearest restaurant, getting lost twice from said vague directions, and eventually leading her to the mysterious Merlotte's.
Having her nerves frazzled even more than usual had left her a bit shaken. Or, perhaps, it was the lack of eating, but Kaelyn made sure to take a few deep breaths before opening the front door of the bar. Taking a few cautious steps inward, Kaelyn was happy to notice that the establishment was a spacious one. The next thing she tried to find was a sign telling her how the order of things was supposed to go down.
Kaelyn, not seeing any sign that told her to either; A. 'Wait for a waitress to seat you.' or B. 'Seat yourself.', ended up shyly glancing about for directions...

Sam stood behind the bar in stony silence, observing first the male Were then Summer come in and Brandy was flanked by shifters. The general patronage of Merlotte's wouldn't have noticed anything untoward about it, but to the trained eye it would look noticeable.
Sam watched as the younger Were excused himself and hurried off to the gents. Summer seemed unusually perky. Was this her way of coping with the upcoming forced change? He'd never get a chance to ask her, not right now. Why did he care anyway?
"Can I bother you to put in an order for me, for one of those."
Summer pointed towards the burger and fries on Brandy's plate. She put on an intentionally annoying voice. He had to restrain himself from snapping her head off. Instead just grunting at her and shouting the order in to the kitchen.
Sam continued to watch and he could hear Brandy's concern for the stranger. Why was she so interested in him? She wasn't bored of him already? The male Were came back and Sam's eyes followed him back to the stool and once again Brandy was being way too curious about him. But he said nothing, choosing to remain silent.
For now.

"Oh don't apologise sweet cheeks. Ya gotta go, ya gotta go. Right?"
"Um..Yeah of course." Damian was still kinda mad at how he acted. He really needed the witch's help. Badly. And he wasn't in the mood for annoying other people. His worries and the full moon makes him all the less cheery.
"As I was asking. Damian, is there something bothering you? Because, as much as I'm sure sweet drinks and food will make you feel better, you seem to be really bothered by something. Did you want to talk about it?"
"Well the normal," he knew Summer and the bartender would understand and hopefully Brandy."Also my girlfriend is missing." Damian didn't know how much he should say so he left it at that. He started to pick at the fries and sip some more of his delicous drink. "Um..this is very good.." he said to the bartender. Damian hoped that he didn't think he was flirting with the witch.

While waiting for Damian's response, Brandy spotted the woman looking very lost close to the front door. Brandy took the moment to motion Arlene toward the woman to help her out. As soon as Arlene left to introduce herself to the newest face in Bon Temp's, Brandy put her attention back on Damian.
"Well the normal,"
Brandy was puzzled by that, the normal? She didn't understand the way Summer and Sam would of, she couldn't sense things like that. She knew Damian felt.. different.. but she couldn't smell him or 'sense' that he was a werewolf the way her companions could. But she fully understood his next statement.
."Also my girlfriend is missing."
"Missing.. really? How long?"
Oh. Uh oh. Brandy was intrigued, she had that look in her eyes as she leaned closer to Damian. She was pivoting her body so that others wouldn't be able to hear what she was about to suggest. Well, she didn't care if Summer or Sam heard because they already knew her secret (which she didn't really think was a secret at all).
"The reason I ask is because.. I'm a witch. Maybe I can help you find her"
