They sat, front row and waited for the show to start. Sam kept Brandy's hand in his and found it really hard not to smile. There was something so fantastic about dolphins. Sort of like dogs of the ocean. Fun, loyal, intelligent, cute. He shook his head as he almost laughed aloud at his silly thoughts.
Then the show began and everyone clapped and cheered as the two bottle nosed dolphins did there display with flawless precision. Everyone in the front row ended up soaked through, as they always did at such events.

Well, it was Brandy's fault after all, she had chosen to wear the white Merlotte's shirt and they had sat in the front row. By the time the show was over, Brandy - and Sam's - hair was wet, and most of their clothes.
Brandy didn't noticed, and she stood up and stretched - and noticed the group of teenage boy's staring at her. She gave them a look that read 'what are you staring at? And apparently she was more clueless than anybody might of given her credit for..

When Brandy stood up, she caught the attention of just about every male close by. Particularly a group of young boys, who were all mouths open and stunned. He cast a glance upwards and Brandy was soaked to the skin, in fact her white t-shirt was like a second skin. There was nothing left to the imagination whatsoever. Now that wasn't a problem, if they were alone. But they were in a very crowded place.
"Um...babe. Maybe you should sit down." and he threw her a very pointed look.

"Um...babe. Maybe you should sit down."
"Huh? But the show is over isn't it?"
Then she saw that look, and her eyes had followed his... to exactly the place, and the reason the teenage boys were staring.
"Ah, sh!t"
Well, this was embarrassing, and she abruptly sat down and crossed her arms in front of her chest...
".. Maybe this would be a good time for you to pick me up an aquarium souvenir...? Like.. a large sweater, or a jacket?"
Who knew how long it was going to take for her shirt to dry? Especially considering the next dolphin show was in oh... 10 minutes...

Brandy was mortified at just exactly people were staring at. He wasn't complaining himself, but for her own sake and to save her own embarassment.
".. Maybe this would be a good time for you to pick me up an aquarium souvenir...? Like.. a large sweater, or a jacket?"
Sam gave her a comforting smile and stood up. "You be okay till I get back? I shouldn't be too long, but you never know how long these queues can be." he reluctantly let go of her hand and looked towards the exit to the merchandise stand.

Brandy looked at him and smiled, squeezing his hand before he turned to leave.
"You have nothing to worry about.. if one of them get's fresh with me.. I'll just use a little magic..."
That was a playful smirk, but there was some seriousness to it... after all, she wasn't too worried about 3 hormonal teenagers...
(ooc: short sorry, passing out right about now lol)

Sam gave her a wink and a smile and headed off out the enclosure and trudged along towards the merchandise stand. He was still sopping wet, but he was in dark clothes so it really didn't look too bad. Stopping at a stall filled to the brim with booklets, programs, t-shirts, badges, stickers and all other assorted Dolphin related paraphernalia.
"Can I have the long sleeved shirt please" Sam pointed to an off-grey shirt hanging at the back wall of the stall. The sales clerk smiled and picked a folded up one from a shelf behind her.
"You front row?" she asked casually with another smile.
Sam looked himself over and gave an innocent smile in return. "That obvious huh?" he ruffled his wet hair and pulled his wallet from his back pocket. At least that part wasn't wet he mused to himself. "It's a gift, for my girlfriend." That was all the information he was willing to divulge. No need to make smallchat about the embarassment of Brandy to a complete stranger.
"Aww, that's so sweet. I hope she likes it." she took the notes from Sam's hand and gave him back the change. "Thank you enjoy the rest of your day."
Sam took the shirt from the counter and nodded a farewell with a smile and headed back to the dolphin enclosure. Back down to the front row. "There y'go babe."

"There y'go babe."
She took the shift and leaned over to kiss his cheek, pulling it over her body as she stood up and nudged her head toward the exit.
"I overheard a couple talking about a Plexiglas dome room. Apparently you stand on a moving belt and it takes you around this long hallway while all sorts of sea creatures swim around you."
As she spoke, she held his hand, leading him through and around the benches while she followed the signs toward the room.
"We can also go outside, where they have a submarine ride, it's suppose to be really cool in there... "
Brandy, obviously, was fascinated about the conveyor belt and had coaxed Sam along toward it as she held his hand and pointed toward the turtles, the colorful fish, the jelly fish, the octopus, and the - -
"Ouch!"
She had felt a sudden sting against her @ss, and curiously she had turned around to look at a elastic on the ground. Sure enough, right behind them... were the three teenage boys from the dolphin show...

Brandy took the shirt eagerly and pulled it over her still damp t-shirt and talked of a part of the Aquarium where you could walk under water and see the animals in a natural like habitat. She took his hand and guided him through and towards the tunnel.
Sam felt really at ease and relaxed, it had been such a good day. Such a great trip overall. He would be sad to leave it all behind, but he still had a business to run. So was determined to squeeze every bit of enjoyment from this time away from hectic life.
"Ouch!" Brandy yelped in pain and as she turned around, Sam's eyes followed and there stood the three ogling boys from the dolphin enclosure.
So much for a pleasant day, Sam grumbled inside his head. His eyes darkened and he glowered at all three of them. Daring them to move or even to speak. They were just kids and as much as Sam wanted, and considered, pounding there heads in. They weren't worth getting into trouble over. "Why don't you boys just move along." his voice hinted at any risks they faced if they continued to bother Sam and Brandy.

"Why don't you boys just move along."
Now, the funny thing was, as Sam turned toward the boys and began to stare them down - Brandy was reaching down for the elastic that was at her feet.
Even when he had finished his sentence, which was intimidating even to Brandy - she had took aim and had fired the elastic to the 'main' boy that had shot the elastic in the first place.
*SNAP*
Brandy nailed the kid hard, right between the eyes!! He was shocked, and his friends started to laugh at him once the elastic fell to the ground and revealed the giant welt on his face.
Quietly, Brandy had pulled down her lower eye lid and stuck out her tongue toward them - it was possibly the most funniest face Brandy could of ever made.
She was certain, now, the boys would never bother her again - at least, not for the rest of that afternoon.

Just after Sam had given the boys there warning a twang and a snap came out of nowhere. Sam's mouth fell open and when he realised just where the elastic band had rocketed from, his lips curled up at one side in a shocked, but amused smile. He turned his head to Brandy and gave her a 'wow' look. Her reaction was completely unexpected and unpredictable but typical Brandy. He shook his head, struggling to contain his laughter at the expense of the male youth.
He slipped one arm around her waist and urged her to walk onward. It wouldn't be long before they were at the end of the tunnel and they could head out to somewhere else. Sam felt his stomach gurgle quietly. He patted it gently. "Man I'm starved, we should go get something to eat after this." he turned his head to Brandy. "Your choice."

"Man I'm starved, we should go get something to eat after this."
Brandy nodded, she was feeling pretty hungry herself. When they finally left the tunnel, Brandy found herself snickering and pointing toward a curious restaurant...
"Am I the only one that find's that fish and chip's store right across the street from the Aquarium a little.. ironic?"
Brandy knew Sam and his uh.. appetite? That was why she was nudging her head toward the hot dog stand outside.
"Let's grab a hot dog before we go for that submarine ride"

"Am I the only one that find's that fish and chip's store right across the street from the Aquarium a little.. ironic?"
Sam followed Brandy's finger towards the very British looking take away shop. His lips curled upwards into a deeply amused smile, which turned into a small laugh. It was a little tasteless to some extent, but it was still funny.
"Let's grab a hot dog before we go for that submarine ride"
Submarine ride? Sam flinched uncomfortably. He had to admit that he really wasn't looking forward to this at all. But Brandy had came along with him happily to watch the dolphins perform, it was only fair that he did this for her. "Uh, sure, grab a drink while we're over there too."

You know, by now... they had been together long enough that Brandy noticed Sam was obviously uncomfortable with riding the submarine. She held his hand, walked with him to the hot dog stand, but didn't say a word.. yet...
"Uh, sure, grab a drink while we're over there too."
"Your happy with just a pop and a hot dog, when we could be skipping the submarine and going straight to that fish and chip's place over there?"
She was smirking playfully, leaning over to kiss his drink.
"I never realized you were skiddish in submarines, are we going to be skipping the enclosed rides at the amusement park?"

"Your happy with just a pop and a hot dog, when we could be skipping the submarine and going straight to that fish and chip's place over there?"
Sam grinned at Brandy, "You were the one that wanted a hot dog." he teased back. It was so obviously a double entendre and he knew she'd pick up on it right away.
"I never realized you were skiddish in submarines, are we going to be skipping the enclosed rides at the amusement park?"
Sam's grin slowly faded and he looked at Brandy without a flicker of humour in his eyes. "It's not the enclosed spaces, it's the enclosed space trapped underwater that bothers me." Sam could make it out and shift into something aquatic if required in the hypothetical situation that played out in his head happened. But the thought of it still bothered him nonetheless.
