"I can't exactly let you go on them on your own. We're here together, to do things together." Sam quirked his eyebrow, "Though I am sure there are things I'd happily leave you to do, while I wait on solid ground for you." Sam sat in the carriage and waited for Brandy to join him, he had to smile when she placed the stuffed dog between them and sat down.
"Besides.. you can let me go on the ride solo, because who would look after Lassie here?"
"Oh we can't let Lassie be on her own now can we?" Sam winked and soon they were off going gently up and round. Sam draped his arm across the back of the carriage, asbent mindedly stroking Brandy's hair. "Beautiful view huh." Sam said with awe in his eyes.

"I can't exactly let you go on them on your own. We're here together, to do things together.Though I am sure there are things I'd happily leave you to do, while I wait on solid ground for you."
Brandy smirked playfully, she had a feeling Sam wasn't all that much for the thrill rides - as she noted before, so she would have to go on the 'biggest thrill ride' of the whole park by herself. It didn't bother her, you only lived once!
"Oh we can't let Lassie be on her own now can we?"
She couldn't help but to smile, the feel of his arm draped across her back had made her close her eyes and lean her head against his shoulder happily. The gentle rocking of the car, the closeness of him.. it was very.. nice.
"Beautiful view huh."
"Really?"
Brandy opened her eyes as they neared the top of the wheel.. yes, it was very nice - especially as they neared the top and came back down again.
"... it certainly is."

Sam kissed Brandy ever so slightly on the side of her head. His lips gently caressing her soft hair. "It is, and I'm glad I'm sharing it with you." he gazed at her in awe. He still couldn't really believe this beautiful girl was all his and loved him unconditionally. "Oh and Lassie of course." Sam chuckled quietly to himself as he held up the soft toy dog, nuzzling it's nose into Brandy's neck.
The wheel began to make it's way back round to the bottom and Sam let out a deep happy sigh. He was so content and could have stayed here, in this carriage with Brandy for the rest of the day until they had to go back to the hotel.
"So, where would you like to go when this ride is over?" Sam asked Brandy, after all as far as he was concerned this day was all for her.

"It is, and I'm glad I'm sharing it with you."He always knew the right thing to say, and it never failed to make her smile. His touches were subtle, but noticeable.. and then made Brandy's heart race. It was a blissful moment. "Oh and Lassie of course."Brandy laughed as he rubbed the stuffed dog's nose against her neck. Pair that with the gentle rocking of the cart and Brandy wanted to use a little magic to make the ride last just a little bit longer.
They neared the top, and the ride had slowed to a stop and let the pair hover there for a few moments. Just as Sam asked about what they were going to do next, Brandy had pointed to the thrill ride."I'm going on that ride"She was grinning like a Cheshire cat when the ride started up again and finally let the pair off. Brandy held Sam's hand as they headed off of the ride and toward the thrill ride."Oh.. the slingshot.. "Her eyes were wide, it was actually a two person ride and Brandy hadn't noticed till they got closer. She gave Sam a quick kiss before she slipped into the line and ended up going on by herself because it was the 'last run before shift change'.
They strapped her in, and Brandy gave Sam a slight wave before everyone had stepped back to send her flying into the air. It was a simple enough design it seemed - just a couple of seats hooked up to a machine with a couple of cords that sent a person flying into the air. Safe enough, or maybe not - but that was a part of the thrill wasn't it.
It was a rush of adrenaline when the machine roared to life but something had gone terribly wrong when Brandy was shot into the air. The reason shift changes were done were also to perform regular maintenance but one Carney had wanted to finish up a smoke break before they had to go 'back to work'.
Whatever the reason was, one of the cords had gave under the tension and snapped - it was enough for everyone to hear within close proximity and the immediate screams as the carriage itself was sent hurling into the air with Brandy inside as it dislodged itself from the cords entirely.
The 'carriage' was hard to see in mid air, and it had went down to land in a field close to the fairgrounds. Paramedics, ambulances, police, crowds of people had rushed toward the field - nobody knowing what they would find but everyone expecting the worse.

Brandy excitedly pointed to the ride she wanted to go on next. Sam recoiled at the dangerous looking machine and when Brandy went on alone, he was more than happy not to protest. This was not his thing at all. He didn't like the fact that Brandy was on it either. He just had a really tight knot in his stomach looking at it.
Suddenly cords snapped, screams began to start from the ride. Sam's eyes looked on in horror as the carriage shot off. It was as if it was all going on in slow motion. There was absolutely nothing Sam could do but watch on scared witless, his heart beating out of his chest. A wave of nausea flooded over him.
"Oh my God" he stammered out, and the collie toy was dropped at his feet and soon he was off and running in the direction the carriage shot off at. Fighting back tears, he had to get to Brandy. He had to see if she was alright. Oh God she had to be alright.
A crowd had gathered. Staff, paramedics, onlookers. Sam couldn't get through. He had to get through somehow. Then an idea hit him, it was risky but he had to do it. He had to know she was alright.
Sam backed away from the crowd and found a secluded spot. He stripped off everything and shifted into his default collie form. Managing to weave through the legs of the gathering masses. He snuck past the staff towards the carriage.

The carriage was empty. It baffled the paramedics, the police, the firemen - and the crowds. The policemen started to assume that the body was thrown from the wreckage and were already calling for back up and search parties.. oh, this was not very good at all.
Especially when Brandy was standing behind a game booth - completely stunned and out of it. And low and behold, Sam's clothes were right underneath her feet. Which meant Sam was in collie form, probably with the wreckage and in complete panic. All she could do was put her fingers between her lips and 'wolf whistle'.. hopefully, whatever form he had chosen, would hear her and come running.

Sam was now snuffling about around the area where the carriage had been flung at high speed. He couldn't pick up Brandy's scent anywhere. Now he was whimpering and his tail was tucked under his body. He was not liking how this was all looking at all. If Brandy was hurt or in pain, or even....NO. Sam wouldn't allow himself to think like that. He'd find her.
A sharp whistle came floating across the air, the crowd and all the emergency technicians of various trades seemed completely oblivious to it. But it went right into Sam's canine ears. Something about the way it sounded.
Suddenly his ears were up and his tail was wagging frantically and he shot off. His nose to the wind, following the sounds and a very familiar scent. He let out a small bark and before too long Sam had found her and without even thinking rationally, he was standing before her butt naked.
"Oh my God you're alright!" Sam threw his arms around his lover, tears in his eyes. "I thought...Oh God." he held onto her tightly. Wanting to make sure it wasn't some kind of illusion. He kissed her all over her face and head. His hands cupping her face gently. "Are you alright?" Sam asked as he pulled away to give her a once over.

He had come running, the moment he saw her behind the game stand he had un-shifted and immediately threw his arms around her.
"Oh my God you're alright!"
She was still stunned, as he kissed her face all over - standing there naked with tears in his eyes. When he pulled away and gave her the once-over her eyes finally met his and she seemed to almost.. snap out of it.
"Are you alright?"
Finally she had nodded, and she bent down to hand him his clothes. It was brief, the moment between them but the sounds of the carnival and the 'search' party were well under away. the whole carnival was already starting to shut down.
Realism, thank fully, had sunk in.
"There is no way for me to explain what happened if somebody recognizes me from that ride. We need to get out of here quickly and I'll explain what happened when we are in the clear."
Once Sam was dressed, Brandy had reached out her hand for his. He was a better tracker than she was, obviously, and with his senses he could get them out of there faster than she ever could so she was going to let him lead the way entirely.

The relief on Sam's face was almost tangible. It was a miracle that she was unhurt from her ordeal. How she got there, Sam had no idea. But at this particular moment in time, he didn't care. Brandy was safe and relatively unscathed.
Brandy handed him his clothes and Sam took them without a word and hurriedly got dressed in silence. "There is no way for me to explain what happened if somebody recognizes me from that ride. We need to get out of here quickly and I'll explain what happened when we are in the clear."
Sam was really confused, but gave a grim smile and nodded his head in agreement. He trusted Brandy to tell him everything in due time. Quickly he took Brandy's hand and looked for the best possible way out. Through the heaving masses was not an option. Sam had to think smart, he had to think outside the box.
He looked around. Left, right, left again. There was no other option, they had to just high tail it right through the crowd and hoped for the best. The more suspicious and guilty they looked, the more attention would be drawn to them. "Just act casual" Sam said leaning into Brandy, and speaking low into her ear. "Most people seem distracted with the accident."

Lucky for the two of them, everyone seemed so distracted that acting casual actually worked. They managed to slip out of the fairgrounds just as the gates were closed to continue the search.
It was insane, everything from helicopters, to guard dogs, to search parties were formed and Brandy just kept walking straight ahead with Sam until they were a safe distance.
She pulled Sam into a seemingly quiet alley way, and leaned against the cold brick wall.
"I was in there, when the ride broke and sent me hurling into the air. It was the scariest sh!t ever Sam I honestly thought I was going to die and all I could think of was you. I guess I... I kind of just poofed! "
As she said 'poofed' she made a motion with her hands and if that alone had made her 'relocate' herself.
"Literally, I closed my eyes tightly and just wished and wished in that fraction of a moment that I could be with you and when I opened my eyes I was there - standing on your clothes."
The next part was really hard to say...
"It was a complete fear reaction Sam but I think... I think I may of teleported..."

Sam let out a heavy sigh of relief, pursing his lips and blowing out a deep breath. They had managed, somehow, to make it outside the fairground without anyone spotting them. Brandy looked out of sorts, very disoriented.
Sam gave her a reassuring look as she tried to explain what happened. He stayed silent through it all, Brandy needed the time to get it out of her system first. Then she hit the bombshell of all bombshells.
"It was a complete fear reaction Sam but I think... I think I may of teleported..."
Sam looked on in disbelief. His mouth slightly open, his brain trying to comprehend what Brandy just said. "Uh, teleported. Like in Star Trek?" Now Sam was no Sci-Fi nerd, but he knew enough about popular culture to get the reference. Most people would. "I had no idea you...well anyone could do that."
Of course Sam felt stupid. He lived in a world where the Supernatural was the norm. But teleportation seemed completely out of the realms of that particular norm.

"Uh, teleported. Like in Star Trek?"
"Uh I guess so? But not really.. it's not like, I can do it at will - at least, I don't think so..."
Deciding to put her theory to the test she closed her eyes, concentrating hard on just the act of teleportating. Nothing was happening, not even a flicker - and even attempting had suddenly seen Brandy kneeling on the ground as her knees buckled underneath her.
"I.. I feel so weak. And I can't, I can't seem to do it again. Maybe it was just a fear instinct, but the ability.. it's there, I can feel it. I just can't... teleport at will I guess. So no, not like Star Trek."
Brandy leaned against Sam, and she let him help her to her feet. She was holding her head, feeling an intense headache coming on. So intense that all she wanted to do was shut her eyes and force herself asleep in that back alley.
"I had no idea you...well anyone could do that."
"If I feel this weak every time.. with this kind of head ache.. I don't think I want too anymore.."

"Uh I guess so? But not really.. it's not like, I can do it at will - at least, I don't think so..."
Brandy closed her eyes and looked deep in concentration. Her brows were furrowed and there was an intensity brewing. But she hadn't moved at all. Brandy looked tired and weak and she fell to her knees as her legs just gave way from underneath her. Sam wasn't quick enough to brace her fall.
"I.. I feel so weak. And I can't, I can't seem to do it again. Maybe it was just a fear instinct, but the ability.. it's there, I can feel it. I just can't... teleport at will I guess. So no, not like Star Trek."
Sam helped Brandy to her feet, looking at her with wonder and concern. Whatever it is she had just done. However she'd managed it. It didn't really matter, all Sam wanted to do was get her back to the hotel and let her rest.
"If I feel this weak every time.. with this kind of head ache.. I don't think I want too anymore.."
"You don't have to do anything you don't want to." Sam put a careful arm around Brandy's waist, trying to keep her as steady as he could. "Let's go back to the hotel. I think we've had enough excitement for one day."

"Let's go back to the hotel. I think we've had enough excitement for one day."
Brandy couldn't agree more, she had slipped her hand into her pocket and pulled out her phone to dial a cab. If she had enough strength, she might of just relocated them both. This.. power of her's.. was going to come in handy one day.
She had almost reached her peak, there wasn't anywhere to go except to just strengthen the powers she had. She already told herself she wouldn't abuse her power and she hadn't. Sam was a good anchor, and they were both apart of the supernatural which made this life just a little more easier.
"That sounds like a plan, and I think that jacuzzi tub in the bathroom looks big enough for the both of us"

Brandy dialled out for a cab and Sam waited in silence, his eyes never leaving her. If she was to pass out, he wanted to be there to catch her fall this time.
Once the cab was called Brandy looked up at him with tired eyes. He smiled at her warmly, slipping a hand into hers. "That sounds like a plan, and I think that jacuzzi tub in the bathroom looks big enough for the both of us"
Sam's smile changed to a cheeky smirk. He was glad to see Brandy coming back into her old self. "Now that definetly sounds like a plan babe." Just as Sam spoke the cab pulled up alongside them and Sam opened the passenger door to let Brandy get inside first.
