"You were the one that wanted a hot dog."
"Fish and chips seemed a little cruel at the time..."
Brandy had the slightest tilts of her head in that expression.
"It's not the enclosed spaces, it's the enclosed space trapped underwater that bothers me."
Brandy nodded, lightly placing her slender hand on his shoulder as she leaned over and tenderly kissed his cheek.
"Well, if anything were to happen.. I'm sure we could find a way of it... "
Nice thing about that there' magic.
".. wanna go see the penguins?"

Sam smile and inclined his head towards Brandy as he felt her lips on his cheek and a comforting arm on his shoulder. She seemed confident any problems would be a minor task and they'd get out unscathed. Sam wasn't so sure, but the talk of penguind was enough of a distraction. "Penguins, cool. Sounds like a plan. We can grab something to eat here and make our way down there." A little light seemed to go off behind his eyes, "Never been a penguin before."

"Penguins, cool. Sounds like a plan. We can grab something to eat here and make our way down there."
"You know.. I think it's funny that you would like the penguin's.."
Brandy was in the process of getting her hot dog, and drink when she glanced over at Sam. She handed Sam his own hot dog and pop as he mentioned becoming a penguin (as to which the hot dog stand owner gave him a funny look).
She was amused by this, clearly, as she topped her hot dog with mustard, onions, and pickles.
"We might as well be... penguins, they spend their whole lives looking for that one other penguin and when they meet them, they know. And they spend the rest of their lives together."
Sam Merlotte - was already her penguin. Her smirk was amused as she took a bite of her hot dog thoughtfully...

Sam took his hot dog and drink with a warm, grateful smile. He took a hearty bite as Brandy began to muse outwardly about penguins. "Why would I not like Penguins?" he said with a mock look of hurt. When she continued on about how when they mate, they mate for life. He was starting to get visions of Happy Feet, which is quickly removed, laughing at something so sweet would earn him a kick in the shins...at the very least.
Sam smiled at Brandy as she seemed to be deep in thought. "When you put it like that, yeah we are like penguins." He'd have put an arm around her if he could, but each hand was now full. So he opted for a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Don't think I'm carrying no egg." he winked at her, poking a little fun.

"When you put it like that, yeah we are like penguins."
Well, welcome to the animal world.. that was Brandy's brief thought before he kissed her on the forehead. She was eying the people and families around them.. one particular family that had two kids - and they were all laughing and having a good time.
She was lost in her own thoughts when Sam made a comment about not carrying an egg. She quirked her eyebrow and gave him a funny look.
"How terribly insightful of you."
Sam wasn't very good at being 'funny'. Brandy's hot dog was done, and she was already heading to the penguin show.. with, or without him.

Sam's awkward attempt at humour typically failed. Cracking jokes was never Sam's forte and it was time he stopped trying. The pair began to walk towards the penguin enclosure, staying silent apart from the odd munching sound of happy eating. Sam stuffed the remaining piece of his hot dog into his mouth and wiped his lips clean with a napkin.
Sam took Brandy's free hand with his own, embarassing jokes aside. Today was a really good day.

Penguins. Brandy seemed in awe of them, just thinking about how special they were.. completely unique from all other animal species. She was squeezing Sam's hand knowingly, her head leaning against his broad shoulder as she watched the penguins with interest. Once the show was done, the both of them were walking back outside and down the street - the amusement park was in close enough proximity.
Brandy had insisted on stopping by a gift shop for souvenirs, namely a couple of key-chains for both of them. She was curious, and she had let her hand slip into his back pocket - copping an 'innocent?' feel before she pulled out the zippo lighter. She remembered the day she bought it for him, and it brought a smile to her pretty face.
Her thumb was content on rubbing over the face of the collie, a soft sigh musing past her lips. Another full moon meant that her and Sam would be sharing it together. There was something very.. surreal about it. When she slipped the lighter into his back pocket she had pulled him into the direction of an enclosed photo booth.
The amusement park grounds were literally, just a few feet ahead, but Brandy was sitting on his lap in the booth and kissing him passionately. She needed this moment of privacy between them... before she would be screaming her head off on the craziest roller coaster she had ever seen..

After watching the penguins with genuine interest, Sam and Brandy walked around some more, finding themselves outside and moving towards the Amusement Park. Brandy tugged him towards a gift shop and bought some keyrings for them both. He almost jumped when he felt her hand inside his jean pocket, not very subtley taking a handful of his ass. She took the collie lighter out and looked at it wistfully.
Before he could even speak up, the lighter was back in his pocket and he was being yanked into a photo booth. Brandy was on his lap and her mouth met his almost desperately. Sam returned the kiss with equal enthusiasm, wrapping his arms around her tightly. It was a much needed and very welcome break from being tourists.

One thing that Brandy could say about Sam Merlotte? He was a good.. no, a great kisser. Every kiss was just as intense as the last and every kiss sent her skin tingling with excitement and her toes curling. She would kiss him for hours and hours if she could and never get bored.
It was a nice break from being tourists and he held her so close that the enclosed space of the photo booth didn't seem to bother her. When the kiss ended she just sort of cuddled next to him, leaning her head against his shoulder and the nape of his neck.
"I love you"
The sound of a throat clearing had interrupted Brandy's thoughts and she looked over at the curtain to see a couple teenagers tapping their feet. With a nervous laughter she eased from Sam's lap and reached for his hand to slip outside of the booth.
The group slid in after them and Brandy held Sam's hand as they headed through the gates of the amusement park.
"So.. hun.. what ride do you think we should go on first?"

Sam held onto Brandy closely, just not wanting to let go or end the kiss. Brandy just made him feel so good and even though it wasn't the most private of venues, Sam just didn't care. They were a young couple and they were in love. He didn't see any reason for them not to sneak a moment together.
The kiss eventually ended and Brandy snuggled into him, her head resting on his neck. "I love you" Sam stroked her hair softly, "I love you too."
COUGH COUGH
Well, that was as subtle as a brick to the skull. Brandy pulled away and Sam threw the couple an unhappy look. But took Brandy's hand and left the booth the younger couple.
Brandy asked what ride he wanted to go on first, he had to contemplate it. "Let's start small and work our way up?" he pointed towards a shooting gallery. All very typical with the rifles laid out on the counter, a row of ducks, tons of stuffed animals and a shifty looking carnie.

"Let's start small and work our way up?"Brandy actually giggled when Sam pointed toward the shooting range. Now, Brandy was no sharp shooter herself - in fact she sucked at those kind of games. Didn't mean that she wouldn't make sure the 'carnie' didn't cheat though as they approached the booth..."Your so silly Sam, a shooting gallery isn't a ride... "She was already pointing toward a ride called the Scrambler which was a good place, she thought, to start.
Of course, getting a game or two in first was no problem for her."Let's see what you got... "Brandy nudged the free seat, patting it for Sam to 'step right up - claim his prize... ' she always wondered what kind of skill he had been hiding...

"Your so silly Sam, a shooting gallery isn't a ride... "
Brandy poked a little fun at Sam and he smiled back, "I know it's not a ride."he inclined his head back a little. "Don't rain on my parade" he chuckled to himself as he turned his attentions back to the gallery. Eyeing all the stuffed animals.
"Let's see what you got... " Brandy said, patting the seat. An inquisitive look in her eyes. Sam sat and picked up the rifle and settled his arms to rest on the counter. He took a deep breath a took a shot, narrowly missing the first duck. He cursed under his breath and the carnie looked rather pleased with himself.
"Two more tries dude." he yelled with enthusiasm.
Sam tossed him a dirty look and re-aimed the rifle. This time hitting the duck square on. He sat upright with a victorious smile and placed the rifle back down on the counter. "Babe, pick whatever you want." Sam looked towards Brandy with a grin.

"I know it's not a ride. Don't rain on my parade"
Brandy had her hand on her hip, as the word 'rain' mused past his thin lips she had looked up toward the clear, blue sky. Not a cloud in the sky, she hoped that meant no rain today.
The moment was brief and Brandy had her attention back on him again. The way he held that rifle, something just simply in the imagery had sparked something inside of her. She couldn't explain it, but Sam just looked... edible. Sexy. Back in the day's of Clint Eastwood and John Wayne.
Sure, he missed the first time - and Brandy did NOT like the grim smirk on the carnie's face that had resulted.
"Two more tries dude."
Sam didn't need two more tries, he only needed one and he nailed it, much to the carnie's dismay. As he placed the rifle back on the table and stood up, Brandy might of been grinning even more than he was...
"Babe, pick whatever you want."
"I choose you"
Brandy almost pounced him, right in front of the whole carnival. The carnie was trying to hold back a look of enviousness but it didn't come off that well as Brandy leaned into Sam's body and of course pointed toward the stuffed Lassie dog.
She took it with a smile, hanging it off of one arm as they walked along the rides together and headed toward the candy apple stand. Brandy had a thing for caramel apples - she absolutely loved them. She ordered one for herself, but she didn't know if Sam preferred candy or caramel...
"What do you think would be a good first ride? Maybe we should go on the drop of fear.. or that roller-coaster.. or the Ferris wheel... "

"I choose you"
Sam just grinned back when she said it. He sort of half expected it, but it was still nice to hear. She gave him a look, a look he knew all to well. But she set her sights onto the array of stuffed animals. She picked the collie dog and Sam smiled knowingly. "Cute dog."
Sam waved off the covered apples. "I'll maybe get something later." Once Brandy got her caramel apple, they continued to walk on. Brandy was back to the subject of rides. Sam really wasn't sure at all. "Ferris Wheel, now that is a ride and it's nice an easy to start with."

Somehow, as she ate her caramel apple, she knew Sam would pick the Ferris wheel. He didn't seem to be much of the 'thrill' ride seeker. In fact.. he seemed to want to steer away from them as much as possible.
As they walked toward the Ferris wheel, Brandy had tossed her stick into a nearby trash can and licked her fingers while they waited in line for their turn.
"You know, you don't have to go on any thrill rides with me Sam. There is only one I really want to go on, and that is the ride where you go really high up in the air in that enclosed cage, and then you spin around a lot of times and come back down really fast - - "
Brandy had put the stuffed animal in between them as they climbed into their seat and the safety latch was hoisted over top of them.
"Besides.. you can let me go on the ride solo, because who would look after Lassie here?"
