"Damian, you made it after all!"
"Yeah. I thought I should come and give Sam more money," he forced a smile. Also he secretly hoped to meet some random person who may end up being the girl of his dreams.
"Thank you so much for the outfits. Sam and I really appreciated them and we wore them out to dinner"
"That's good that you were able to still use them." Though he still didn't know why they didn't wear it to his restaurant, though he didn't want to ask. He watched as she came to sit next to him.
"... I recognize that look Damian. Sam hid it a bit better than you but... your lonely aren't you?"
Damian looked up as Brandy hit the nail in the exact postition. "Yeah. A bit," he couldn't get a smile past his lips. He felt as if someone just stabbed him with a silver pole or something.

Haylee was so busy she didn't get a chance to acknowledge Summer. Or even if she heard her over the noise of the bar. The jukebox was now in full effect an old Lynyrd Skynyrd song playing in the background and it seemed the night was only just beginning. Sam was milling around being the genial host and Brandy was sitting with Damian. Summer sat with her head resting on her hand as she looked over the bar. She really needed a drink, but no-one was on hand to serve. Looking around for someone to serve her, she sighed. Sam really needed to get someone to look after the bar on a night like this. She motioned him over. The least he could do was serve her.

Sam excused himself from Damian and Brandy as more people came into the bar. Terry and Arlene finally showed up for there shift and both went about there business. Terry into the kitchen, as much to inspect it as set the area up for prepping the food. Arlene went to the staff ladies room to get herself ready to start work.
Sam looked around the place with a smile. It was really buzzing and it felt like nothing had happened in the weeks previous. Everything was back to normal and he felt great. There wasn't much that could spoil the night ahead.
Sam noticed Summer motioning him over and he walked over towards the bar. "What can I get'ya?" he said with a broad smile.

Belle was sitting in Jessica's house. Or technically her house. She was in the living room and very happy in the fact that she doesn't have to sit in the graveyard all day. She wanted to go to Merlottes but she didn't know what to wear. So she went into the room that she keeps her clothes in and went through the closet. Belle was looking for the really pretty pink outfit she bought from Pam. She found the dress, purse and shoes in the closet. She had to go to the jewlery box for the rest and she took a quick shower just to make sure all traces of the dirt life were gone before getting dress and heading for her car. When she arrived she hurried to the Jukebox and turned it onto a random song. Which happened to be The Islander by Nightwish. It was a great song for her to dance to and she did it splendidly. When the song ended she twirled to the bar and sat next to Brandy. She waited for someone to be able to get her what she wanted. She didn't say hi to Brandy because she was talking. So she waited in complete and utter vampire silence and thougth.

Nothing would've delighted Haylee MORE then greeting Summer, even acknowledging BB; when getting a slight glance of them. If only the moment had given her a window, but for now:Her time was on lock down. All between ordering and making drinks, so far it was all running smoothly. Trust in Sam, yeah; those words are concrete! Nothing cam break concrete, except for a hammer. Which, oh, was about to happen right about: NOW. While it may have run smooth for awhile, everything was like domino's now. To many pieces have been removed, to continue along normally. She was overwhelmed, more like sinking faster then a brick within a pond. ROCK BOTTOM. Clink-clang-clash-another-clash-chip-smash! It sounded like a bull in a china cabinet; LITERALLY. "I'm so-s-..sorry! I'll be there in a second!" Another crash. Why, god?

"What can I get'ya?"
Summer was about to ask when just at the moment she opened her mouth to speak.
CRASH!
The sound of many, many glasses colliding with the hardwood floor of the bar. Summer cringed and looked over at a very flustered, very embarassed looking Haylee. "Sh*t girl you okay?" It was as much rhetorical as Summer was concerned about the poor girl. Summer stepped off the stool she was perched on and made her way over towards Haylee.

The sound of several glasses smashing and tinkling on the floor made Sam turn away from Summer with a surprised look on his face. The floor behind the bar was littered with broken glass and standing amidst it was a shocked and startled Haylee.
"Aw crap Haylee!" Sam exclaimed, running a hand through his hair. "You alright?" he said. More worried about his harassed waitress than he was about a few broken glasses. Sam made his way over to Haylee and it seemed that Summer followed him. He looked at Haylee, patting her shoulder. "It's alright, just go get a broom to sweep this up. I'll take care of the bar for now."
Sam waited for Haylee to make her way out back to the store room to get broom to sweep up the disaster behind the bar. He turned to Summer and looked over the busy bar. There was no way he could tend bar all night on his own and with Tara MIA. There was no other option, as Terry would be stressing in the kitchen.
"Listen, Summer." Sam began, almost surprising himself by asking what he was about to ask. "Brandy's told me you used to tend bar....you wouldn't mind helping me out tonight for a few hours would'ya?"
Sam had never in a million years have expected to ask Summer to work for him, even temporarily. He liked Summer, not as much as Brandy did. But she was a Were and as such had a temper. All it would take was one person, one smart ass comment to send it flaring. But this was a dire emergency and if Summer had the experience Brandy had claimed she did. Things would work out.

Belle looked up at the sound of a clatter she jumped up and was there in a second. But when she got there she noticed a pretty blonde then Sam and Summer. And at that sight she turned and left. They didn't really like her much.
So she went back to the cd's and put on a really random song. And it was a very hard rock. But she danced and made it look spectacular whiles doing it. But she was getting hungry. She went back to her seat and sat for a little while and tried to get Sam's attention. or anyone's attention.

"Ah crap, Haylee!" Those words escaping her boss's lips, had made her cringe right along of being startled and shocked. Which resulting from everything being out of control; when everything was supposed to be fine. Right now, it was far from it and she had to ask something. Had she let Sam down? Despite all of that, he seemed concerned and it wasn't anything she expected. 'Yeah, I uh- .I-um, fine." No cuts or anything. Thank goodness. Just broken glasses. Glancing toward Summer and then upon Sam, blinking when he told her to sweep the mess up. To "leave" everything to him, she felt bewildered. She half expected to be fired. Or yelled at. Or maybe just a combination.
That was a little better, expect for oh, about a thousand pair of eyes on you. Due to making a scene. It's not like she planned! Maxine and Jane were probably having a ball. Haylee then awkwardly left to get the broom, eventually coming back and starting the cleanup routine. She could only imagine what it must be like in the kitchen area. Was it worse? Or pretty much the same as it was out in the open, trying to take orders and make drinks.

Summer smiled at Haylee as she walked past looking embarassed and sheepish. Poor girl, thought Summer. She didn't need that nor all the gawping faces.
When Sam asked her to tend bar, Summer did a double take. "The what now?" she had a suspicious look on her face. "You're ribbin' me right?" Summer looked at Sam's face. He was serious? He was serious. "uh...well sure, I guess...I mean. Do I have to wear the little Hooters like outfit?" Summer held back her grin. She wanted to see what Sam had to say about that first.

Brandy looked at Damian with a frown, leaning over she put a gentle hand on his shoulder and offered him a slight smile to try and comfort him.
"I get that.. I really do. For what it is worth, I'm sorry things didn't work out with Alicia. Or even with me, just I have someone already that I care a lot about. But you know you will always have my friendship, we just need to find you a girl - -"
Brandy had been looking around the bar, tempted to call the duplex to see if Kaelyn was around. She noticed Belle at that moment, and tilted her head toward her.
"Belle, hey, glad you could make it"
Bang. Clash. Shatter.
Brandy's eyes widened toward the commotion going on behind the bar. Haylee was having a hard time, and Brandy would of offered to help but...
... she was very strict in her own mind about mixing business with pleasure, so to speak. This was Sam's headquarters and Arlene would of been very pissed off if Brandy helped out even for a night.
Brandy almost choked when she over heard Summer's Hooter's comment... Brandy wondered about that as well sometimes. She couldn't wait to hear what Sam would have to say to that one.

"I wasn't planning on the you and me thing," Damian said sweetly. He looked at her. "I know your token and what happened didn't upset me. It was the fact of destroying your trust." But she was right, he was very unhappy. The Alicia thing hit him hard.
"Belle, hey, glad you could make it"
Damian looked towards the girl and noticed she was a vampire. But very pretty and seemed less like a normal one. He decided to say hi to her. "Hi...Belle?" he asked due to him not knowing her.
Bang. Clatter. Clang
Damian turned towards the noise and figured to let Sam do it. He wouldn't want to step in something he wasn't allowed in. But he noticed the vampire jump up before going off and dancing then coming back. "I haven't had the opportunity to introduce myself. I am Damian."

Do I have to wear the little Hooters like outfit?"
Sam threw Summer a look that screamed, what the hell! Then he shifted uncomfortably, he'd never looked at any of his waitresses like sex objects, not even Sookie. "Well, you don't have to, not like it's full time." Sam looked around, everyone was watching them now.
"Summer, just please. Help me out willya." Sam's voice was pleading and he almost put his hands up in a prayer like gesture. He was desperate.

Summer couldn't contain herself any longer and she began to giggle behind her hand, then it escalated into a deeply amused laugh. "Oh Sam" Summer patted him on the back. "Relax, I'm not about to sue you for sexual harassment. I'll put on the uniform, I'm actually looking forward to it in a strange sort of way."
Summer grinned, it had been a while since she'd been behind a bar. But if Summer was good at anything in her life. It was tending bar. Most of the work she'd had over the years was behind a bar in a variety of establishments. Merlotte's would be a breeze. "So could you get one one of those cute little outfits, or at least point me in the right direction?"
Sam told Arlene to show her where to go to grab a t-shirt and a pair of shorts if there was any there. Arlene fought to hide the sneer, but even she knew that they needed the help tonight. "You can have these...they used to belong to a girl who worked here Dawn. They'll probably fit ya." Arlene handed Summer the trademark white t-shirt with the Merlotte's logo emblazoned on the left breast and a pair of snug little black shorts with admittedly cute tassles on each leg.
"Could you tell Sam I'll be out in 5, then I'll get to work." Summer smiled at the redhead. She really was excited about working.
"Sure thing." Arlene said, rolling her eyes as she walked back out into the bar.

Funny thing about witchcraft and love spells - the more powerful the witch, and this might of been a scary thing if you thought about it - the more chance that you were going to be a victim without even realizing it. Evan was one such victim, he had, quite literally, been traveling down in his blue dodge truck from Texas for the last 3 hours.
Did he notice that he had been speeding like crazy but no cops seemed to be on the road? He had weaved in and out of traffic and vehicles seemed to move for him without a second thought. Even the traffic lights turned green as he approached - and stayed green until he cleared the intersections. Funnier still, was the fact that he didn't know where he was headed - it was like one giant magnet was forcing him to drive in one direction and there was little he could do about it.
It was like this until he pulled up to a large tavern in Bon Temps, Louisiana. And he didn't even really mean to stop, his truck had clunked out and it suddenly stopped. Another bloody sign as he turned his head to look at the sign on the building..
Merlotte's bar and grill.
Who was he to argue? Mumbling to himself he got out of the truck, pulling his leather jacket closer to his body as he wandered into the bar. His blue green eyes scanned the bar, falling upon Brandy for some reason. Without a word, he had walked up to her and took a seat beside her. He smelt magic from her and the pull to her was much too strong not to be obvious.
"Well, witch, why did you summon me?"
Yes, apparently it was true... Evan had has his run in with witches before. Though, for some reason, he didn't feel threatened by this one in the slightest.
