"Well, witch, why did you summon me?"
Now, let's be honest with ourselves, Evan had officially scared the sh!t out of her. One moment, you were sitting there admiring your sexy bartender of a boyfriend, and you were talking to one of your other friends who was now talking to another friend, and a male voice you never heard before interrupt's your thoughts.
"Jesus Christ!"
Brandy almost jumped out of her skin, turning slowly to see the man sitting beside her. It took her a moment to take him in. He was a big guy! A drop-dead sexy guy with blue gray eyes and short brown hair, but hell.. she summoned him?
When did she summon him? Suddenly her face went as white as a ghost...
Of course! Summer.
Oh Sh!t. She couldn't imagine what this must of looked like to Sam!
"It's not what it looks like I swear!"
Evan gave her a look.
"Don't tell me I'm part of your sexual fantasy or something?"
Brandy went so red that she ended up punching the strange guy she didn't even know - right in the arm!
"Shut up! It's not like that!"
Evan was shocked at the punch, though it really didn't hurt - but he couldn't help but to "play" it up as he reached his hand over the area she had punched and eased back.
"Ow, that almost hurt. Do you always go punching sexy guys in the arm, witch?"
Brandy rolled her eyes, and pointed toward Sam..
"Oh, sure.. Sam and I play 'mistress of pain' every night"
Evan smirked, and nodded a greeting toward Sam.
"This is your witch I take it? Nice choice. But seriously, why did you summon me here?"
Brandy sighed, she had some explaining to do didn't she? Casually Brandy had drew a careless circle against the bar counter top, and swallowed hard.
"I guess.. your uh well.. Summer's true love?"

Sam had a very disgruntled look on his arm as the strapping male figure sat next to Brandy and just came right out with her secret. He was so blasé about the whole thing Sam was simmering, ready to snap. Who was this guy and why did he know about Brandy? Then Sam's shifter senses kicked in, he was definetly two natured and then it struck him, like a punch in the head. He was a Were.
"This is your witch I take it?
Sam nodded back, never taking his eyes of the stranger. He viewed the Were with a blend of caution and suspicion. Moreso when he demanded of Brandy why she had 'summoned him' Sam didn't know what to think. The last thing he needed or wanted was another guy trying to move on his girlfriend.
Then Brandy spoke up and Sam looked astounded. "I guess.. your uh well.. Summer's true love?"
"Summer?" Sam managed to stammer out. Brandy did this, for Summer?

Summer locked herself in the ladies staff room and looked over the two items of clothing Arlene had handed her. "...they used to belong to a girl who worked here Dawn" Used to? Summer shrugged and began to slip out from her grey sneakers and peeled off her stonewash blue jeans. Picking up the black shorts she pulled them up and on. Slipping her feet back into the sneakers.
Then off went the green cropped cardigan and the white vest top. Summer smirked and was glad she put on a white bra tonight. Pulling the tight fitting Merlotte's emblazoned t-shirt and tucking it inside the shorts. Summer tried to give herself the once over, but it the mirror was in such a precarious position she couldn't get to see from top to bottom.
She chewed lightly on one of her thumb nails and pondered. Something was missing and Summer just couldn't figure it out. Then her eyes spied something sitting on a shelf. A purple hair scrunchie. "perfecto." Summer smiled and started to pull her long brown hair up high and tied it neatly.
Now she was ready to brave the thirsty hordes of Bon Temps. With a wink and a grin to the mirror. Summer then bent down and picked up her jeans and tops and looked around for somewhere to put it. Butterflies hit her stomach ten to the dozen and her heart was pounding. "relax Summer." she whispered to herself and found her way to Sam's office and placed her clothes neatly on a two seater sofa. Summer didn't even want to know why Sam had that in his office of all places.
Striding out into the front with an air of confidence. There was a familiar scent in the air, one she hadn't smelt in a very long time. Then the voice. Oh God, the voice. Summer froze on the spot, her mouth fell open. It couldn't be...could it?
Summer closed her eyes and counted to three in some sort of bid to challenge herself. As if she thought she was hallucinating. One eyed slowly peeked open and then the other and she saw him. Sitting in her seat of all places, at the bar. He looked a little different, but there was no more doubt in her mind. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and she wondered if this was what it was like to have a heart attack.
"Evan?" for the first time in a long time, Summer sounded almost timid.

Evan looked.. amused by Sam's reaction. It was almost tempting to just go along with it but Evan wasn't the type of guy to take things too far. And Sam was of the two-natured variety - more specifically, a shifter.
The men shared a neutral glance. Both knew what the other one was. But when Brandy mentioned Summer, suddenly it all made sense to him.
He was in disbelief.
"I don't think you read your tea leave's right on that one, witch, that wasn't the impression I got when she just... "
"Evan?"
"... up and vanished..."
And there he was, looking right back at the one woman who had never left his mind for years. It was hard to stay mad at her, especially when she looked like that.
For a moment, he didn't know what to say.
"... Summer."
And then he smirked, getting up from his seat.
"Well, are you going to stare at me all night or are you going to give your uh.. true love a hug?"

Summer couldn't stop staring at Evan. She couldn't believe her eyes or her nose for that matter. There was the man she left behind over a year ago, just staring back her her. She felt light headed, her heart was trying to beat out of her chest it was racing so fast.
"... Summer."
It was cliche as hell, but everyone else in the room just faded away when he spoke. Absence really did make the heart grow fonder. He was as gorgeous as he ever was. Then he rose from his seat, that sexy smirk on his face. All the fears just seemed to wash away at that moment.
"Well, are you going to stare at me all night or are you going to give your uh.. true love a hug?"
True Love? What the hell?
Summer knew Brandy had some explaining to do and Summer knew she would have some explaining to do herself. But right now all she wanted to do was feel his warm embrace. To hold him close and to hell with everyone else. Summer couldn't have stopped smiling at him, even if she tried.
She walked over to him, her pace quickened the closer she got and threw her arms around his neck. "I never thought I'd see you again." she whispered into his ear. "I'm so sorry..." Summer's words trailed off.

"Belle, hey, glad you could make it"
Before Belle could answer she heard a guys voice saying that it's nice to meet her. "Um..Hey Brandy and nice to meet you." And before long another man began talking to Brandy. So she walked up to the other side of the guy who said something and sat. "I hope you don't mind...but..you are?" She could tell he was a shifter of some kind. And kinda cute but she probably would be a disgrace to vampires everywhere. "I see you know Brandy. And I guess she's busy." Belle couldn't get it out of her. "Well um...I guess your just gonna have to be stuck with me."

Brandy watched the reunion and noticed the look Sam had given her. With that thought she had stood up and reached for his hand, leading him back to the office.
She didn't say a word, and she had closed the door behind her as she wandered into the middle of the room.
"I did a summon a true love spell for Summer, Sam. Because she was feeling envious of us.. and well, I guess... I am more stronger than I give myself credit for?"
As Brandy spoke, she gestured back toward the door, this was really tough to explain because in truth - Brandy almost didn't believe it herself.
"But, you saw Summer's face didn't you? I know I shouldn't be dabbling in the love magic.. but, I did alright didn't I? I mean, how could I not do something like this for my best friend? I'm sorry.. if it came as so much of a shock... I had a feeling it would work, I just didn't think it would work quite so well.."

Sam took Brandy's hand and was lead into his office. Partially taking note of Summer's clothes sitting on his sofa. Brandy explained the whole thing. Sam frowned a little, tampering with magick especially with matters of the heart was a tricky thing.
"You haven't like influenced them at all. I mean..." Sam struggled to find the right words. "Like, there's a genuine attraction there. Not something you've made them feel?" Sam felt like an idiot for even asking. But he knew better than anyone, that love had to come from the heart and not a spell book.
Sam squeezed Brandy's hand. "Look, I understand why you felt you had to to this. I know how much you care for Summer." he frowned as he opened the door to his office. "I better get back out there, nobodies serving."

Oh.. if looks could kill, Brandy was actually mad that Sam had said that!
"Wait just a d@mn minute Sam! Do you honestly think that after all this time you have known me - that would even be capable of doing something like that??! Does this have anything to do with what Derek told you - because if it does, I am so not talking to you for a week!"
Brandy wouldn't even let him head for the door, she had moved herself in front of it and was crossing her arms - her brown hues narrowing at him.
"I better get back out there, nobodies serving."
".. your not going anywhere Sam. I want to know why you would think that even for moment, I would mess with something as powerful as love - do you have any idea how much that hurts that you would even suggest something like that?"

Aw sh*t! Now Sam'd really done it. He held up his hands when Brandy stood in front of the office door. He hadn't just shoved one foot in his mouth but both. He walked over towards his desk, a hand running through his dirty blonde locks. "I didn't meant it to come out as bad as it sounded." Sam looked over at his very pissed off girlfriend. "I don't understand magick, Brandy. I truly don't and I can't comprehend the sort of power you wield."
He sighed and slumped against the edge of his desk. "I know you'd never do anything to hurt Summer. I just....I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you or offend you."

"I never thought I'd see you again. I'm so sorry..."
Evan held her firmly, resting one hand against her lower back as he heard her words muse against his ears. A sigh left his own lips and he had run his hand through her hair slowly.
"Sh!t happens. But I must tell you, that is one powerful witch friend you have there. I'm glad she is on our side"
He held her for a moment, a long moment - and finally took a deep breath to hold her at arm's length to get a good look at her.
"You haven't changed much. At all. What's with the knock-off Hooter's outfit though? I'm not complaining but d@mn girl... "

Summer melted into Evan's arms. They had only spent one night together but it was the best night she ever had and being near him again was like a drug. She felt elated, high and never wanted to come back down. Even better was, that he didn't seem mad or pissed off at her. Which was her biggest fear of all. She would have happily stayed like this, in his arms all night. Being with Evan just felt right.
He slowly pulled away, holding her hands so he could give her a once over. "You haven't changed much. At all. What's with the knock-off Hooter's outfit though? I'm not complaining but d@mn girl... "
Summer laughed, so she wasn't the only one who thought the Merlotte's oufits made them look like Hooter's girls. She tilted her head to the side with a smile. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it I say." she looked downwards at the uniform and looked back up at him with a cheeky grin. "This? Well sex sells baby."
Summer shook her head and moved a little closer, letting go of one of Evan's hands she gave him a mock stern look and with her free hand tousled his hair. "What the hell is this? You an accountant now or somethin'?" Summer had to tease him about his new, well new to her, short hair. "I'm pining for the long lost hair." she playfully pouted at him.

"I didn't meant it to come out as bad as it sounded."
Brandy's eyebrow twitched.
"I don't understand magick, Brandy. I truly don't and I can't comprehend the sort of power you wield."
Another eyebrow twitch.
"I know you'd never do anything to hurt Summer. I just....I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you or offend you."
Brandy had a hard time staying angry at Sam, after all.. it wasn't like he had meant to hurt her feelings. A sigh left her lips as she tucked her hair behind her ear and found herself looking at the ground.
"If.. you don't understand it, you can always just ask me about it. The last thing I want is for my magic to scare you. I just thought.. that you would know me well enough by now to know I would never put a love spell on my own best friend, or on somebody else....
.. I don't work that way."

Sam walked over to Brandy and cautiously put his arms around her, pulling her in close to him. "Even if you explained it all fully to me, I'd still be out of my depth with it all. Maybe later, when the bar has calmed down. You can tell me exactly what you did, I'll try my best not to be a dork and misunderstand you."
He placed a soft kiss on the top of her head. He knew he'd screwed up big time. But his intentions were pure and never meant to cause Brandy any pain or hurt. "I'll give you a massage when we get home?" Sam asked, trying to spread a little happiness to the couple.

One hell of a reopening. First, a bunch of glasses break. Then she was charged with cleaning them up. That wasn't a bother, it actually needed to be done. So that no one would get hurt by the glass, as she finally appeared with a broom. After that little incident, Haylee would've liked to go crawl under a rock. Well, she kinda did for awhile, whenever she was off to find the broom she was using now. She felt like a chicken that had been running around left and right, with no neck to it. Kind of morbid, but it's the only way to describe everything. I'm fired, I just know it. Between her distraction, she had nicked herself; the index finger upon on a small shard of glass. "Ow!" Now grumbling with a low hiss before going off to try and treat it. Could anything WORSE happen?
No, don't ask. Haylee told herself, while trying to hurry up with that at least. Thank goodness Arlene wasn't on her case. She didn't know if she could handle all of this pressure. She sure as heck didn't want to quit, slapping a band aid on the wound. "I'm uh-back Sam!" To at least announce that she didn't just split. Not to mention, she couldn't quit. She owed him, more then a debt money could have. Quickly, she tried to address a couple that appeared to have been waiting. "I'm so, sorry about the wait!"
