Really? Not me, I don't like Lorena one bit. I feel like yeah, I understand how Lorena feels, really sad that Bill doesn't love her, but at least she could go down with some dignity, instead she's bringing shame to a girl who's been broken hearted, not to mention how it was EIGHTY YEARS AGO! Move on! There are so many other hot vampires!
Maryann does need a good slapping, just like the one she made Eggs and Tara do to each other. I liked her at first too, and I still do kinda sorta, but I can't wait for her to get beaten up!
I like this whole Eric Godric thing, but I mean it's a different level, which is what I bet they were going for. We're not supposed to understand vampire relations and I am digging that tone.

ok. I just realized something that makes no sense. Godderick grabs Lorena's throat, as if to strangle her. and when he lets go she gasps for air..... Vampires don't breathe...... and I don't think that's the first time that it happened either.. curiouss

I think it's more of a reaction to who done it. In the books Sookie says that Bill made an effort to pretend to breathe so she was more comfortable. Also Godric is so much older than Lorena he could of easily snapped her neck and she's in his territory.

NO!
STAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am gonna be honest: I did NOT like that episode. It was kinda boring and that only interesting thing that happened was when Lafayette and Tara's mama tore her out of that house. That ROCKED! Go Lafayette!!!!!!
But I wanted to just punch Godric! And then when Eric broke down crying, I did not like that either, I just wanted to shake them all. I enjoyed the Godric suicide, I think that was well done, but not Eric's part in it. I think that whole Stan being dead thing really just made me not like the rest of the episode. I'm so bummed about that! But I'm STILL gonna be Stan on the site, he's alive in my book!

Hell yeah, Stan is too awesome to kill off. I'm glad to see you will still play him. I agree, that episode went so fast. I did enjoy the Hoyt and Jessica thing, he's really, really accepting her, so much so that he's willing to put down his mama... Crazy shi*! And we will end the season with Marianne... I really haven't been super fond of that storyline very much, so I will be happy to see it end. Guess what: Next season... WEREWOLVES! Hell yeah. Just gotta wait a year now, ugh. My eyes are going to be glued to the gossip columns until they decide who is going to play Alcide...

YAY. WERES NEXT SEASON. Did anyone else cry when Eric and Godric were talking? I wept my eyes out. And Jessica/Hoyt just makes me want a boy like Hoyt in my life! It was soooo cute and lovely.

After watching the last episode, I just love Lafayette all the more now. He was kicking some butt trying to save Tara, and I really hope they can. I was super sad that Godric let himself burn in the sun, but I thought it was also really touching how they did it with Sookie there. Could you imagine being around for 2000 years? Heck, I get bored doing the same thing for an hour. lol

I was pretty dissapointed in the direction last night's episode took. I'm not a fan of the Eric/Sookie thing and I don't think there is any chemistry there. I realy hope they would move Sookie far away from Eric as I find him extremely boring when she's around. I was so frustrated with Sookie when she again opened her big mouth were it wasn't needed. I wanted Nan Flanigan, who btw is 300% awesome, to smack some sense into Sookie. She grates at the moment. More Lafaeyette. He was kicking butt and taking names. I literally cheered when he beat Egg's ass. My favourite part of the episode was him kidnapping Tara with Lettie Mae. Also, can Hoyt/Jessica get any cuter? Seriously, they are easily the best couple on the show. Plus Hoyt needs to wear that tv shirt he wore during "Grown A** Man" speech more often, yummy. I'm also loving Terry/Arlena. Sam the fly and having to go to Andy for help. Love it

Honestly thought the entire episode was very good.
The actors were all on top form, especially as you got to see other emotions from a lot of people, Lafayette for example, as mentioned, was angry and aggressive and it worked brilliantly. Eric showing signs of real emotion at Godric's side was excellently done and just makes wonder what Eric will do now, is he gonna go nuts and kill everyone or become more insular?
However it must be said, that even though the acting and scenes were awesome, it was little in the way of story telling, there was little in the way of major events, save for Godric's death and so the whole episode felt a bit like a stepping stone to lead onto the next number of huge events, which may happen next week: Stuff like Mary-Ann finding Sam? Tara getting brought around? The story is very much now focused on the non vampire side of things as the major plots are happening with Mary-ann now. Still I look forward to the ever growing conflict between Bill and Eric.
Summary: Great episode, not much pressing forward with time though.

Exactly, Jack. This episode was very laid back, it was more of a breather episode, nothing got you up on your toes with excitement really (well, at least not me). I was disappointed with a few things but it was an emotional episode. I wish they would have punished Isabel instead of making her Sheriff of Dallas.
Nan was great, and everyone was acting like they could step up to her and stuff and i was just like "listen!" Also, favorite part (other than Sam being a fly) was when Steve Newlin got on air and had a bruise right between his eyes! That was great! Thanks again, Jason!'
I just can't believe there are only three more episodes left, and yes Alcide, WEREWOLVES ARE NEXT!

I actually like last night's ep. I mean it was kind of uncharacteristic of true blood to leave out a lot of action. But that wasn't the point of this episode. It was character development. Godderick's suicide was a great moment of acting. and I like the fact that we saw Eric's emotional side. (Although I have to admit I laughed when he kept repeating "Please" in Swedish.) and I'm totally an Erick Sookie fan. and am hoping we see some of that before the end of the season.

I LOVED last nights episode. Just loved it. I know people dont like Godrick but I absolutely adore him. I loved him in the book and now do in the show. Having Sookie with him at the end. Great. And the Eric crying. I cried. I love that they showed him having emotion. And Sookie sucking his blood out...........OMG! I about flipped out.
Now...the whole Maryanne thing...I cant stand her, not at all not one single bit. Im sick of it. I cant stand Tara or Eggs....but Lafayette kicked some butt. I adore him. And Jessica and Hoyt. Precious!!

I absolutely adored this episode. There wasn't a lot of action, but I don't mind as the emotion, acting and was off the chart. Not every episode can or should have non-stop action and whatnot. We all need wee breathers and to learn more about the characters, which this episode did brilliantly.
The last part of the episode with Godric, Eric and Sookie...I had to fight tears and that's a huge thing for me. TV and Movies rarely elicit such a response. So for this to happen is a credit to the show, the script, the actors and there intense performances. The direction of the scene was just beautiful.
Lafayette! squeeeeeeeeee So.Awesome. Just so awesome. I'm am SO glad the pizazz is back. Big hearts for mah hookah. Plus yes@ the way he handled Eggs.
Hoyt/Jessica. Just when you think they can't boost the adorable factor anymore, they surpass it by a country mile. Hoyt standing up to Maxine was great, I was just cheering him all the way.
Nan Flanagan. Whoooowheee what a badass lol Her real life persona is a complete contradiction to her public face. Politics, dont'cha just love it. Plus she looked foxy as hell.
Right...nuff gushing. I'm very very very upset at Stan being a victim to Lukinator's suicide bomb. He's a big character and important and it was like "Stan's dead...whatever" That bugged me more than his final death tbh. RIP Stan. We'll miss you're sexy ass.

I was actually shocked at Nan, in this episode: I saw a whole new side of her. Pushing everything aside in a cold manor for PR reasons. grrrr.... > _ > None the less, she is a kick a$$ lady. lol
What I didn't expect was Godric's suicide or even Luke's bomb. I think I was actually speechless before going, "OH HELL NO!" Stan.... ; __ ;
All in all, I liked how this episode managed to surprise me and left me hanging for the next episode.

My favourite parts of this episode were Lafayette kidnapping Tara and kicking Eggs butt...go Lafayette, someone needs to stand up to Maryann. Also loved the Godric suicide part, I almost cried it was done very well and I really felt for Eric, we're getting to see more of him now. And now Sookie has seen his emotional side will she be so willing to brush him aside? She always said he was cold-hearted but here we seen something else. Those were the highlights I feel the rest was more filler waiting for something more to happen, I'm not happy Maryann is still about, they need to sort her out. But now the Godric situation is resolved Sookie will be heading back to Bon Temps and maybe something can now be done about her. Sam as a fly...just brilliant, and I'm hoping that by him going to Andy at the end we'll see more development of Andy's character. Stan dead? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO just no I so wished they hadn't killed him off, and killed off Isabel instead
