Im really looking forward to how they're gonna either kill Maryann or get her to leave town. Cus in the books they didnt defeat her, she left on her own...

Yup..and I can't figure out how they would do that and why sookie had that really weird power thing a couple episodes ago. I hate having to wait two weeks.

I'm wondering who Sookie is talking to, when she goes "I'm sorry" from the preview of the last episode DX I'm dying...waiting to know. lol

It's gonna be cool, me thinks. I'm hoping, crossing my fingers, they'll have time to introduce werewolves a little bit on the last episode to introduce the next season... oi oi oi I can dream right?
Even if it was just like Alcide appearing and the camera slowly goes from his boots to his frazzled black hair. I would scream and roll around like a crazed fan girl that I am.

I thought they could've done more, but I didn't think it was too bad. I really enjoyed the Bill and Sookie love parts... I've grown to hate Bill with everyone else, but it really erupted that old flame I used to have for him...
lol
And what's with the maenad being killed? Sam's gotta be frickin' kidding himself if he thinks he can kill a Maenad by stabbing her heart lmfao
That part was laaame. They should've had her run off from the beginning, so that she's still established in everyone's mind as one of the most powerful supernaturals.

It's just... I think as a Maenad, she just needs to be more powerful, I just feel like they didn't establish a good enough "God" character on the show, and I really think they needed Maryanne in the minds of the supe to remain there, so they should have had her just leave...
Because now they've established that hey, a shifter can kill a god-like creature and it's like WHAT?

I think it was the fact that in order to destroy her, she needs to think her god had come. And she did until the last moment when it was like "Hello, it's not my god - it's Sam!!"
She truly believed it, and just as she had fully given herself to "him" there was that moment of clarity when she looked at Sam and she knew the god wasn't coming for her. But it was too late by then and she went *squishy*

I don't think I have ever been soooo disappointed in any season finale. I was looking forward to it all week and it blew! The whole Mary Ann story line could have been done in one episode...*tearing out hair* I just get so aggravated because we need more Eric and Pam!! We need the shifters and were's!! Just boring...waste of an hour...

^ Not at all. I for one loved it.
It's already established that the Maenad in the show is different to the book Maenad. So why can't she be killed? Would I have liked it to mirror the book? Of course. I loved Maryann, though I know many didn't, so knowing she's completely gone saddens me. But it was a fitting way for her to end.
I have no problems with Sam being the one to destroy her. Shifters are stronger than humans, so a shifter loaded up on Vampire blood is even stronger still.
Andy Bellefleur just continues to be a joy to watch on screen. Every line, every facial tick, everything about him is fantastic. "This is coke...with lime!" that line had me in literal tears of laughter. The delivery was priceless.
Jason was also an absolute hoot. "If a tree falls in the woods, it's still a tree" LMAO
Eggs going dolally and getting his head blown off. Awesome. Thank the Gods that boring boring man is gone. Though I do feel for Tara. She's gonna be a mess.
Sam with his foster parents. *heartbreaking* Getting info on his bio-parents. EXCITING!
The cliffhanger was tasty. Was it Eric? Or was it Lorena, setting up the Russell Edgington/Mississippi Vampires storyline? I for one cannot wait to find out.
and YAY for more naked Sam ;D ;D ;D ;D
