Ok so I think Sophie-Ann looks the part but I hate the way she is acting as queen...she is much more refined in the books...it irritated me especially since she is sooo old....I absolutely love her "castle"! It was even better than I could ever imagine! Holy crap, Andy and Jason need to get a thread going ASAP!! The funniest shizz I has seen all season...ERIC IS SOO AWESOME...HAYLEE: the reason Bill said that is because Hadley didn't know that Gran is dead and it would just upset Sookie to know that the reason she hadn't been around is b/x she has been this gal's fang banger.

Still trying to soak it all in. But LOL@the handcuffs, just SO Lafayette XD Jason's enthusiasm and all the shifter questions hahahahaha he's awesome and I lovelovelove his interaction with Andy. I've not met Sophie-Anne in the books, so I have nothing to compare her to. But I did like her in an odd sort of way. Eric flying was SO much better than Season 1's 'skateboard' Pam was awesome and sardonic as always. <3 Her outfit was major lulz though. Yaaaay Ginger lol "teacup humans" lolol

Just saw the next episode! Loved it! Especially when Maryann deflected the bullet "Poor Carl..." lol And Sophie-Anne! What was with her! She's acting like the teenager she should be, but she's more refined and dignified than she is in the show! And Hadley? Isn't she supposed to be a vamp? So why was Sophie-Anne feeding off her? I loved the fact that the Queen has a 'day room'

Best exchange of the Entire SERIES: Lafayette (referring to Eric): He made me drink some of his blood and sell v for him. Sookie: Me too! He tricked me into sucking his blood! Lafayette: Somebody needs to slap dat b*tch.
We had to pause it.
I was laughing too hard.

Lafayette's just amazing. The fluffy hand cuffs were just so him. ANd all his one liners and stuff. I love him. And the whole bit were he was seeing Eric in Taras mums clothes was hilarious. Eric still managed to look scary in a dress with a bracelet on

Dude, Sophie Anne Leclerq is excuse my language f**king retarded. What the f**k were they thinking bringing this 20 something redhead dog into the show? As I understand, she's supposed to be quaint and looks no older than probably 15. Yes, she's a lesbian, but she's not super obvious about it in the books.
She's so fricking obnoxious, she needs to die--now. There's no way someone like that would be queen NO WAY NO FREAKIN WAY.
I loved the rest of the show, but I wanted to kick the TV down when Sophie was made into a terrible, stupid character!

Yeah, they kinda messed Sophie-Anne up, they made her mroe humorous, immature, when she's supposed to be this really cold, aloof 15/16 year old looking vampire. Sophie-Anne is supposed to be secretive about her relationship with Hadley

I don't mean to be the Devil's Advocate but you have to remember that this is a SHOW. Things that are progressive in a literary sense may not always be easily representational in 45-55 minutes of show. Directors have to make choices on how to best represent the book and it's difficult to establish important characters as subtly. I believe the Queen acted, very much, like a queen. Everyone is at her whim, she has little to no boundaries, she gets what she wants. He had to establish a queen (a new character), the fact that Sookie had a cousin nearby (another new character) and that she was in a relationship with said queen, the reason for mary anns appearance, How Tara was going to save (or not save) Eggs, Tara confronting Mary Ann, How Sookie was going to get into her Grans house, What Jason and Andy and the rest of the town were doing, What bill did, what eric did, what Sam did etc. So, considering all that, I think it was pretty well done in my opinion. It's best not to Pigeon-hole characters when they're portrayed on TV, it only leads to nerd-rage.

Oh, i agree, it was well done. I dont usually compare movies to the books, at least not at the start lol. I take them as separate things because you cant make a film/show DIRECTLY from the book. It wouldn't hold the audiences attention as much. Still love the show to death tho, pardon the pun

My heart absolutely broke for Hoyt and Jessica! I am on pins and needles wondering what is going to happen to the two of them. I love that couple! *CRIES* Does anyone else feel that way, or is it just me?! I laughed so hard at Eric in a dress and at that Lafayette part with Sookie-that might have been the best line in the last episode.
