"Well, unless you changed your mind" Sam looked at her, feeling bad again. "No, not at all." he didn't know what else to say. He put his hands in the back pocket of his blue jeans and smiled to reassure her.
She said she would wait outside for him and turned to give him a look. He was caught in her admiring gaze and now it was his turn to feel his cheeks flush. She was making no secret that she liked him, a lot. He liked her too, but he wanted to be cautious. Make sure she was on the level, get to know her before he could open up to her completely. She sure was beautiful though, he mused to himself before shouting in to Lafayette in the kitchen.
"I'm shootin' off early. Close up for me, I'll let you go home early tomorrow night." and without a word he headed outside to meet with Brandy.
"Right, stay as close to me as you can." he smiled, wanting to make up for his blocking of her affection. "It's not too far from here. It's a nice place, quiet." he began to walk towards the employee parking lot and he turned his head. "I'll just go get my truck round from the back and we can head out."

"Right, stay as close to me as you can."
Brandy couldn't help but to laugh softly at that. He was asking her to stay close, when she would be following him with her car.
"Well, I will stay as close as possible without riding your bumper. That would get a little awkward..'
Unless he was thinking something was going to jump out at her on the way to her car? She looked nervous for a brief moment but shrugged it off. She had a feeling that Sam wouldn't let anything happen to her.. it felt nice.
"It's not too far from here. It's a nice place, quiet."
"Awww, now your just trying to sell me on the place because you have the spare keys to every room right?"
She thought about it for a moment, then waved her hand frantically so that he wouldn't think she was serious.
"Kidding, kidding - I promise!"
I'll just go get my truck round from the back and we can head out."
Brandy gave a reassuring nod and went to unlock the door, slipping in the drivers side. As the engine roared to life, she lightly tapped her fingers on the steering wheel.
"This is so bad... I don't know why I like him so much, and I barely know him.."
Her dark caramel hues glanced up at the mirror, adjusting it so she could catch her reflection in the glossy surface.
"You need to stop while your ahead, girl. Be good"
Nothing like personal mental lashings to keep your mind on focus...
She hoped.

Sam let out a little laugh as she humoured him. He half wanted to stay there and just talk to her like a normal person. But no, he had to get the truck quickly so she could get her a roof over her head. He hurried round to the far side of the building and pulled out one of his keychains. Fingering through them till he found the keys that fit the locks of his red Dodge Ram truck. Not a newer flashy model like Jason Stackhouses shiny black Ram. But it worked and that's all that mattered. Stepping up into the cab of the truck, he closed the door behind him and put the key in the ignition and turned. The powerful engine roared to life and he pulled the truck out from the back lot into the front. Brandy was already safely tucked into her car. He felt relieved, Bon Temps was a haven for bad things and he didn't want anything to happen to Brandy. He'd feel so responsible. Driving up alongside her car, he leaned out the cab window and down to her. "Ready?" he smiled broadly. Happy he was getting her somewhere safe and warm ((OOC: ~FIN~ ))
