"Dang Jess, if that's how I became a vamp, I would hate the person who did that to me....'course it would increase my sex life. You ever hear that vampires can last for hours with out rest. Shxt, I would be ten times more popular with the local girls if I could do that."
Jason stopped and looked around. They had just passed through the gate and were heading left. What he was looking for should be coming up soon. After a second he realized what he just said and blushed.
"Don't misunderstand, I can go awhile. I am the best human guy in Bon Temps for that kind of thing, its just I need to breathe you know and sleep and sometimes I get hungry or have to pee..." Jason was now completely humiliated. He seemed to always run off at the mouth when he didn't know how to properly respond to a situation.

"Well, compared to my human life, being Vampire rocks. Of course, it depends what your life was like before you were turned." She explained, stopping beside him and following his eyes around the graveyard. "We do sleep but just at different times and places then humans do. We also don't feel the need to eat, just live on Tru Blood. It'd be like drinking slim-fast for the rest of your life or something." Jessica was surprised at how well she remembered all this information she'd been told. When she was being told it, she naturally looked as if she could give a rat's ass and would rather be somewhere else - that was Jessica's signature look when she was being told important information.

As they ambled across the grave yard Jason finally found the grave stone. "Aw yeah, old dead guys 9 'oclock! Let's take the pictures and get the frac out of here!"
Jason went up to the mausoleum and checked the name. Definitely not French. "Sweet Jess! Here it is, you take the picture while I make some dumb ass face." Jason handed her the camera and went to stand beside the tomb.
"Listen, I am sorry that your human life wasn't so great before. I know it might not seem like a lot but if you need somethin' that your maker can't give ya' just look me up at Merlotte's. I am tryin' to not be such a jerk any more especially when it comes to girls and I am pretty sure that you would be a good friend, if you can stand a human like me that is."

Jessica laughed once again. "Hurray for old dead guys!" She explained and went up behind him at the gravestone. She held the camera, examined it and then figured out how to shoot a picture. "Smile and make a "dumbass" face, Mr. Stackhouse!" She said, holding up the camera then finally realized she had yet to learn his first name. But then, what he said caught her completely off guard. She had never had a guy friend before, just girl friends because her "thingyhead" father would think she'd lose herself to them. This life opened many new doors for her and she decided to try and open as many new doors as possible. "Wow, thank you, that means a lot. Sure, I'd love to be your friend - I won't turn on you or anything with my fangs out again." She smiled and then laughed in an embarrassed manner.

"Why thank you miss Jess...now it is time for my dumb ass face" Jason crossed her eyes, stuck out his tongue and gave her double thumbs up. He felt the bright flash in his eyes and shook his head. He had no shame.
"Alright Jess, I just need to text this name over to my buddy and then we will get the next clue for our little scavenger hunt. I can't wait to see the looks on the faces of those asses when they have to go bankrupt because of a vampire!"
Jason turned back around and headed back for his truck and a thought struck him. "Hey your maker, he ain't gonna be mad at me or nothin' for keeping you out is he?" The last thing he needed was some mortal neck wound.

Jessica laughed and snapped the picture. She took a look at it and said, "Wow, I have better photography skills then I thought." She laughed again and showed the picture to him. "Sounds good to me," she said and smiled. She followed him to his truck, using her Vampire speed to catch up with him. She wondered what Bill would do if he found out she was out this late. "As long as I'm back before dawn, I think he'll have no problem." She settled on this rational answer, then pushed the thought back to her mind. "Where are we headed now?" She asked, looking over at his truck. "Whoa, nice flames!"

He hopped in the open window and slid behind the steering wheel and reached over to open the door for Jessica.
"Why thank you! I have put a lot of work in this truck and it doesn't get near enough appreciation." His phone vibrated and said S.M.'s T. What the heck was that? Dang, they might not have won this just yet.
"Alright Jess here's the next clue but I ain't really sure exactly what it means. You think you recognize it?"

Jessica hopped into the passenger seat and shut the door behind her. "No problem," she said, fumbling around for the seatbelt. "I've noticed all your hard work." She laughed then took a look at the text. S.M.? Who the hell is S.M.? She wondered and then asked, "Hmmmm, is there anyone here that has those initials? Is there a place that something stands for S.M.?"

"The only S.M. I know is Sam Merlotte...maybe it has something to do with him. Wonder what the T stands for though." He started the truck and headed back towards the restaurant. Jason rolled the windows down and the wind rushed in and caused Jessica's hair to fly away.
"Huh, I didn't notice before your hair is red...real pretty." Jason looked at her and smiled. "Thanks again Jess for helpin' me out. Trust me my friends aren't usually this bored and we usually just sit around Merlotte's and play pool or drink."

"That could be the first part!" She said excitedly then thought again. "Sam Merlotte's Trunk? Sam Merlotte's Truck? Sam Merlotte's...Tarantula?" She listed the possibilities of what S.M.'s T could mean. Jessica pulled her hair back in a ponytail so it wouldn't fly and cover her face. "Thanks, I like your hair too." She smiled, "Oh, anytime. Even though I'm a vampire, I get bored myself sometimes." She got a text from Bill that said "Where are you?" Sighing, she clicked reply and typed, "Bon Temps." then she turned back to Jason. "Sam Merlotte's Typewriter? No, who has a typewriter these days?"

All the T words started jogging his memory. Jason slammed on the brake and his head jerked forward and he slapped the steering wheel.
"Dang it Jess! That's it! It's Sam's TRAILOR! That is what I am talking about! Aw yeah, gimme a high five!" Jason held his hand up and waited. He never got this excited anymore and he hoped she was just as jazzed as him.

Jessica laughed excitedly as she grabbed the side of the truck to keep herself from jolting forward. She wouldn't have gotten hurt that drastically but she wanted to save him the trouble of whatever occurred if she hadn't grabbed the sides of the truck. She took her hand and slapped it against Jason's, smiling all the while. "Is it near Merlotte's or something?" She asked, reluctantly taking her hand away from his.

"Yeah, Sam's trailer is right behind the bar. Hopefully we won't have to look around too much. There should be a note with a clue some wheres."
Jason turned the truck around and started to head towards the bar. His stomach growled and he smiled to himself. "I guess we could stop real quick in the restaurant and get something to go. I am sure that you could use some True Blood also."

She'd been staring at Jason's neck so it took her a few minutes to realize he had spoken to her. "Oh, sorry. I spaced out. Yeah, with me it won't be hard to find." She laughed, to show that she didn't mean what she just said seriously. "Sure, I heard the cook makes the best burgers for humans and stuff. Yeah, a True Blood would be nice, thanks." She smiled and kept her eyes away from his neck.

His blood was pumping and he sure hoped Jess wouldn't over react and accidentally bite him or anything. As he pulled into Merlotte's he let out a sigh.
"I am going to place my order an grab your drink Jess. Then we can head back outside to his trailer. Better mention it to Sam as well just so he doesn't come out there and shoot us with his shot gun!"
Jason ran around the side of the truck and opened Jessica's door. Then he turned and headed inside the bar. The familiar scent and sounds hit him and he smiled. The bar was jumpin' tonight and he almost hated to leave. He looked around and saw his buddies immersed in a beer and knew they would give up but to Jason free beer was free beer.
"Lafayette! Hey black sexy! I am gonna need a burger to go and a True Blood...hey Jess what type you like?"
