She withdraw her eyes from his neck to face the window, a bottle of True Blood pasting inside her mind. "Thanks!" She called out and climbed out. Soon, Jess realized he hadn't locked the doors, but Bon Temps wasn't known to have thieves, just murderers. Shrugging her shoulders, Jess shut the door and very briskly joined Jason, who was talking to the African-American short order cook at the bar. That never gets old. She thought to herself happily. She looked over at the cook, Lafayette and smiled. "Hello Lafayette, I'm Jessica. Nice to meet you." She said kindly. "Oh, I'll have True Blood, B positive, please."

Lafayette blinked as the girl appeared with Jason just like that. He had a feeling she was Vampire and took a cautious step back. "How you doin', Jason?" He asked, without taking his eyes off of the girl. His expression was similar to one who had been glamored, except in a bad way. Realizing she had spoken to him, he could tell she was a lot nicer then Eric and Pam were or appeared to be, at the very least. He nodded at Jason, acknowledging that he knew what he wanted and looked over at the girl. She introduced herself as Jessica and asked for a True Blood, this confirmed that she was a vampire. "Hi Jessica," he said loosing some of the "pizazz" in his voice. "I's get your True Blood soon." With that, he turned around and walked out of the kitchen, no doubt getting the bottle of True Blood.

Jason tapped the bar, "Ok Lafayette we will be right back." Jason took Jessica's hand and led her around to the back exit of the bar.
He held up his hand and pointed at Sam's trailer. "It should be some note on here some wheres. Lemme know if you find it."
Jason walked up on Sam's steps and looked around in the brush next to his trailer and couldn't see anything. This was turning out to be uneventful and he hoped Jess wasn't bored out of her mind.

The smell around the trailer was different, probably because Sam was different. Jess shrugged her shoulders and nodded and investigated the area around his trailers. She walked to the side of it, so she was circling it, her eyes keen on finding some sort of hint on what they were supposed to do. "Hey," she called, making conversation. "Why does Lafayette seem so scared of me?" The way Lafayette reacted completely caught her off guard and that made her wonder what had happened to him involving Vampires.

Jason saw the small folded paper on the ground and knew it was the clue. The reason he knew it was the clue is that it looked brand new and everything else around Sam's trailer looked old and dingy.
He vagule remembered that Lafayette had been sellin' V but other than that he had no clue as to why the bar tender would be cold or hostile to her. "Lafayette is just weird sometimes. They said he went missing for a couple of weeks back and since then they say he has been actin strange but since we are buddies I figure if he wants to talk to me about it he will say something eventually."
Jason held up the paper and grinned. "I got the clue girl! Let's go in and get our grub on!"

"Oh, really? That's kinda sad." Jessica said, remembering how he had acted towards her. She had overheard Sookie and Bill talking about whatever happened to him once but not full blown details. Jessica had been in Bon Temps, or driving to Bon Temps, when they found him and brought him home. Jason's voice snapped her out of her thoughts and she shot over to him in excitement. "Ooh, what's it say?" She asked, laughing and staring at the piece of paper in his hand.

Jason unfolded the piece of paper. "When the day is done, you head over here for beers and fun...man my friends are super lame." More head scratching and head hurting. "Uh, I think this might be Merlotte's but I am not sure."
Jason went inside and flagged down Lafayette. "Hey man you got our food? Also, did you by chance see any um, clues lying around?"

Jessica raised her red eyebrows at the poem and laughed. "They're much better then I would be anyday." She laughed and then followed him inside. This time, in order to not freak Lafayette out, she kept her distance by lingering over by a table and staring at a young couple's who were sitting there, holding hands on the side of it. Her emotion right now if she were human would be jealously. This couple could be no older then Hoyt and her and seeing them made her miss him even more. When the girl looked over at her, Jessica merely gave a small smile and looked over to Jason, who was now talking to Lafayette.

When Jason approached him, Lafayette automatically noticed Jessica was not accompanying him. He saw her standing by the door next to a table but gave it no second thought. He was grateful she hadn't come with Jason, obviously noticing Lafayette was not the biggest Vampire fan around. "You's order my burger, right boyfriend?" He asked then stared down at the tray he had in his hand, which contained a burger and a warm Tru Blood. "Yeah, you's did. There you's go." He handed the tray to him. "No, I's saw a piece of paper stuck to the motherf**kin' wall near Sam's office, motherf**ker." He said and with that, returned to the kitchen.

"Dang Lafayette, what crawled up your skirt? Thanks for the food and the tip." Speaking of tips, Jason reached in a pulled out a couple of five's and left them on the bar. Jason wasn't bright but he wasn't stupid either. He knew that even though he and Lafayette were friends if he didn't get the money he was owed you might as well not even bother coming into Merlotte's. Jason tipped biggger than usual tonight because the bar tender seemed to be in a mood.
Jason walked back over to Jessica and handed her the True Blood. "I hope its the way you like it. I am no vampire but I can't imagine not ever tasting a burger Lafayette ever again. That's cruel enough to break my heart." He slid into an open booth and began to chow down. With his mouth half full "Oh right, Lafayette said the next clue might be at Sam's office." His buddies had left the bar and were either searching for the next clue or had completely lost interest. Jason never quit and he wasn't about to lose either. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "Sorry if I am being rude, I just didn't realize how hungery I really was."
Jason slowed down his eating. He didn't want Jessica to head into a feeding frenzy either.

Jessica took the Tru Blood and uncapped it. "Thanks." She said and began to drink it, it was B positive alright and just the right amount of warmth. She raised her eyebrows at his chowing down on burger but laughed and sat in the seat across from him. "Don't worry about it, it's just fine. So Lafayette's burgers must be really good then, to bad I can't try it but I'll take your word for it." She put on a smile and drank her blood again. "That's okay, take your time. Do you know where Sam's office is? Maybe I can look around so we have a bigger chance of winning and you'll satisfy your stomach." She put her bottle down on the table and folded her hands around the bottom, waiting for his answer. "Unless you want to continue together."

"I would hate for you to do all that work by yourself..." his stomach growled "I wouldn't mind polishing off a round of french fries though..."
The whole time they had been sitting together Lafayette had been watching, waiting for some bad sh*t to go down. Jason wanted to know what the deal was and he could ask the man while ordering the food.
Jason approached the bar with his lopsided grin on his face. "Hey man, could I get some fries? Also...what is the deal with you lately? You been actin' weirder than usual. 'Specially towards Jessica. She is a nice girl man, I think you would really like her." Jason knew he was asking for trouble by butting in Lafayette's business but hey, he could take the heat.

"If you's want trouble, a Vampire is the perfect motherf**kin' example. They poison, Jason, they never gonna change!" He would rather never paint his nails black again then recount what happened in the Fangtasia basement..or dungeon. "You's be careful, motherf**ker, you hear? Cause a Vampire, they's can turn on you any motherf**king second. My black ass knows that." Lafayette turned around and walked over to the freezer. He opened the door, grabbed the french fries and shut the door again. With one more glance towards Jason, Lafayette made a facial expression that said "Remember what I said" then turned towards the oven and opened the bag of french fries.

"Yeah man, I will be careful. Sorry for stirrin' up old sh*t." Jason really stepped in it this time.
When Sookie heard about this she was gonna be pissed! He returned to the booth to wait for the fries and Jessica. Whatever came first to get him out of the bar would suit him fine.

While Jason had gone to get his fries, Jessica took that opportunity to do some investigating. She had shot up from her seat and over to the wall where Lafayette had said before you could blink. Hearing murmurs and feeling eyes on her, Jessica looked around the wall. Seeing nothing, she tapped her foot and walked further in. "Hmmm," she muttered, looking at the blank walls. Suddenly, her eye finally caught a tiny little post-it note that was pinned inconspicuously beneath a bulletin board. "Aha!" She exclaimed and went over to it. Jessica first gazed at the bulletin board but then her eyes went back to the post it note. She took it from where it was stuck on the wall and then gazed at the handwriting. "Tornadoes are not one to be seen, except only to those who are not clean." It said. "What the f**k?" She asked herself but nevertheless turned back around and shot over to Jason, who was sitting back in the booth. "Hey! Do you know what this means?" She asked, handing the little post it note to him and returning to her seat still gazing at his face.
